Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris: A serious talk

Make Iron Banner weekly and Trials monthly

Leave it as it is

So, I am one of those guys why plays everything, I play the raid, I do strikes, I play rumble and roflstomp people on a regular basis and have a great time. I count the days until Iron Banner every month, it is competitive PvP (as in level advantage enabled) and I love it. I love how its more relaxed than trials, I love that I can just play against other good people and try to win and have a good time and not be upset that I lost once or twice. I feel that it is one step up from regular PvP, its competitive, but not cutthroat or anything. Then there is Trials. I play it occasionally, its fun until my team gets absolutely creamed by a bunch of pros, then we have to leave the match and completely restart our cards. Trials is the epitome of competitive PVP, it is the embodiment of the ultimate challenge. Regular PvP is practice, Iron Banner is the qualifiers, Trials is the championships (in my opinion, ranking competitiveness). Doesn't it seem odd that the qualifiers are only once a month, but the championships are every weekend? I am absolutely fine with the competitive PvP, I encourage it, I love it, but what I don't love is how often they appear. Destiny is my favorite game by far, and it would be even better if you could simply change the timing of those two and I guarantee that a lot of fellow Guardians are behind me on this one. Make Iron Banner ever weekend, change the rewards and all that good stuff accordingly, and make Trials once a month, make it even more competitive, make it what it is supposed to be: the most competitive of the competitive, make it the game of games, the ultimate showdown. -A concerned Guardian
