Educate yourself
As malala yousafzai put it:

With education you can kill terrorism"
Please don't remain ignorant. Go out, read a book, go back to school, read conflicting views of yours, and accept that it is OK TO BE WRONG.
Our education system taught us to be right, or at least that grades are more important than knowledge.
As my college professor put it "your pretty little 4.0 doesn't mean shit if you don't learn the knowledge, come with an open mind, and be willing to change your views if there's more educated opinions that say you're wrong, unless you can get evidence that is more accurate than theirs."
I urge you to not arm yourselves with guns, but with books. As the Doctor said, "you want weapons? We're in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world! This room's the greatest arsenal we could have - arm yourselves!"

As for the terrorism thing; education alone is not enough unless you take their children at birth. You will literally have to strip them of their cultural ideologies, turn their world inside out, and force on them your own "better" views at a totalitarian level. The propaganda stream would have to be relentless and unending. At some point ethics would come into question. You would have to be utterly tyrannical and it would take several generations. There are alternative scenarios of course. We could give them free American cable and they'd all turn into liberals after a generation or so. If you really want to destroy a unique culture and their values, just force modern liberalism on them. Look at ours. Edit: thanks for an interesting post by the way.

Books taught me that the United States was/is very racist. Monopolies ruled the nation. Conservatism was about keeping old ideals. Meaning that some people in the south wanted to keep the segregation laws intact. Progressive politicians and activists put a stop to their "conservative" ways.
