I have an idea a strike on the next DLC
Go to Mercury to kill a giant vex cyclops
See a bunch of hovering and wall-walking vex and have to fight them
Path branches:
A- Walk on to a magnetic platform (no jumping or you'll fall) and fight a large hydra on a donut-shaped arena, being able to walk even on the bottom and inside of it
B- Get launched into a zero G zone and fight a large harpy while flying (Jump to go up, crouch to go down)
Enter the vex fortress and hack yourselves a passcode
Path branches:
A- Get onto a moving platform and avoid energy fields that will kill you
Path branches:
AA- Take lift to an upper level and fight through a ton of vex to a drop to the boss's room
AB- Elevator is disabled by the vex, hack a vex turret to pop out of the wall, get in, and shoot the a wall to pieces to get to the boss
-or-
B- Security self-destruct sequence is initiated and you must run through the collapsing hallway
Path branches:
BA- Climb your way up rubble to the top of the elevator shaft, admire the view, leap down to the boss room
BB- Elevator collapses, jump down, create a magnetic platform to climb up vertically to the boss room
Boss Fight
Giant cyclops with shield made of panels around it. Shield must be weakened by traversing platforms to the beam powering it and deactivating it.
While weakened, several dozen of the shield's hundred-ish panels must be destroyed in order to deal damage. Panels can only be destroyed by a small amount of impact damage (no explosions, but the impact of a rocket would still work)
Invulnerability gained by the boss at each 1/3 health interval.
Rinse, repeat, victory
Just add some ads everywhere and I think it would be a good concept for the next DLC. Feedback?
