Fallen Raid Idea - Ancients Spire Part 3 (Stage 4B - 6B)

Stage 4B: Lexus' Gaze • At this point, Fallen start emerging from the ceiling and attacking, including Fallen cyborgs called Mutilated. Like Taniks, all their arms have been docked but these are outfitted will retractable Arc whips in each of them. Killing them also creates a floating sphere that will fly up and be absorbed by one of the specimen containers above. • At this point, the collection of Servitor eyes returns, this time equipped with its cyborg tentacles and begin moving around above the area. A new feature of the area called the Webway will also emerge from the ground. Players have to kill the Mutilators for them to release enough "Malice" to awaken the specimen above them. This will drop to the ground and will need to be killed quickly, before the Servitor causes it to berserk and become harder to kill, which in turn will cause the largest specimen in the room to release its "Malice" and wipe the Party. • The specimens that drop are called Abominations and resemble Fallen but wearing bio-organic armour and additional cybernetics, such as very large elemental blades mounted on their arms. Like, Mutilators they will release "Malice" upon death, but they need to be killed near the Webway, or their Malice will merely activate another Abomination. Once enough Abominations have been killed to power the Webway, a path will activate, allowing the Party to climb to exit the room and reach an elevator with a chest. Stage 5: Crown of Axeleyth • This sequence is nearly identical to Stage 3, but just requires some more skilful platforming. Stage 6A: Xerlac, Seer of Rain • The final room is a gigantic observatory, that looks out over the Reef and the rest of the system. The central screen, a giant jagged fractured shard of crystal is roiling with darkness as the Kell of Rain and Seer to the dead, kneels in reverence. A giant Servitor, is wired directly into the towers and begins forming above the players as Xerlac turns to face them. • Xerlac has lost much of her body to the plague ravaging her house, her upper arms nothing more that twisted nubs of bony chitin and her lower arms are spindly and frail. Parts of her body however, a practically roiling with energy as her armour feeds on the Darkness nesting within the spire. Her primary attacks are a close range stomp and firing a blast of Darkness projectiles from the orb in her chest. Xerlac can also sprout several long bony whips from her back, either to lash at any nearby players or launch herself long distances. Lastly, she can also "tele-slam", teleporting to specific location and creating blast of Void energy. • To remove Xerlac's immunity, players have to kill at least 3 weaker versions of the Prophets from the Stage 2 encounter and collect their Relic Lances. Once all the Prophets have been defeated, Xerlac will take to the air and begin firing at the party. Meanwhile, modified Shadow Clusters will form. Like the previous versions, they release a damaging field but this field only damages the enemies and makes Xerlac vulnerable if she is standing in at least 2 of them, also if they remain active for too long, they will release a player damaging field instead. However while two or more of the fields are connected, the Servitor will try to absorb the clusters but players can prevent this by using their Relic Super on the targeted Cluster. If the Servitor absorbs a Cluster, it will grant it new abilities in a later phase. • At 80% health, Xerlac will deactivate the Clusters and gain some new attacks. She can now create a larger whip from her back, similar to a scorpions tail. This allows her to rapidly attack the ground in front of her with Void based melee. She can also generate 2 slow moving projectiles that home in on players. If they are shot they release 3 more projectiles that move faster. During this phase, the Servitor will now spawn additional Clusters called Prophet Rings. These will prevent Xerlac from losing her immunity while in the Shadow Cluster field, slowly converts the Shadow Cluster field so it damages players, and can only be destroyed by the Relic Super. These spawn more frequently for every Shadow Cluster absorbed by the Servitor. • At 30%, Xerlac will start trying to absorb the Prophet Rings that spawn. If she does, she'll become immune to the Shadow Cluster field for 30 seconds and gain a stacking defence buff. When she is at 1% health, she will spawn 3 Prophet Rings that must be killed immediately, preventing more from spawning for the rest of the fight and destroying the Prophet Lances. • Once Enraged: The Servitor will start rapidly spawning Prophet Rings. • Once defeated, a chest will spawn and you've completed the Raid................. OR HAVE YOU!? Stage 6B: Lexus, Spirit of the Rain • The true final boss is revealed as Xerlac's body is absorbed into the Servitor, Garrus Prime, who then generates a new body for Lexus. Lexus resembles a living armoured suit shaped like a Fallen and writhing with Darkness. His limbs all end in glowing talons and his armour constantly pulses like a heartbeat. Garrus Prime also becomes active, deploying his tendrils but like the newly summoned spirit, he cannot be damaged. • Lexus can fires bolts of Arc energy and slashes of Solar energy at the players. He also has Xerlac's Tele-Slam attack but will often perform it in rapid succession. Lastly he can perform a roar of dark energy that rains projectiles at the players. Garrus Prime will also fire the occasional Arc blast at players from his tendrils. • The primary mechanic of this fight is Rebirth; Garrus Prime will automatically revive Lexus 30 seconds after he dies, meaning he has to be killed first but Lexus still needs to be damaged enough for the players to beat the Enrage. • Lexus will also generate a group of orbs and tether to a random player. After a few seconds this player will be "possessed" and will tether to any nearby players. This will slow the effects of the damage over time the tether inflicts. After a few more seconds, the tether will disconnect from the initial player. At this point, the other players need to be near the orbs and tether to them. Once their debuff runs out, the orbs will become possessed and follow the player. These players need to quickly run near Lexus before the orbs return to normal, or they will die. Once the orbs tether to Lexus again, he will tether to Garrus Prime and they will both become vulnerable, until they lose 25% of their health or a certain amount of time passes. This damage phase is determined by how many orbs were tethered to Lexus. • Garrus Prime's attacks remain the same throughout the fight, only increasing in the frequency of their use. He can perform a melee attack that does a large slam into the ground and can teleport and player into sphere in the air, that the other players have to shoot them out of before they die. Lastly, he will has an ability used in combination with Lexus. Lexus will start siphoning from Garrus, and will generate two different debuffs on separate players. If these players take no damage but are barely able to move and if they are two close to each other they will wipe the party. Players have to transfer the debuff while moving around the room until the phase ends. Once Garrus is dead you just have to finish of Lexus before he Enrages. • At 75% Lexus gains several new attacks. He can now fire Darkness bombs that remain on the ground and will do damage to the entire Party if they are set off. He can also berserk and perform a series of rapid slashes. He will also generate a Cursed Orb during his immune phase, which should not be tethered to or it will negate the effects of the other orbs. This Cursed Orb will teleport around the arena during this phase. • At 50%, during his immune phase, he will cause several powerful blasts to rain down from the open ceiling and instantly kill whoever they are targeting. This can be avoided if the targeted player becomes tethered to an orb. This will destroy the orb but spare the player. More of these blasts occur as Lexus' health decreases. • Once Enraged: Lexus will target everyone with this orbital lasers and wipe the Party. • Once Lexus has been defeated and Garrus Prime is deactivated, the Fallen abandon the Spire and the House of Rain fades back into Eliksni legend.
