Laser War: Empires
Hello and wellcome to the Laser war.
The old Laser war storyline is continueing in a privat forum this is a new universe where new player's can romp around and everyone has space to expand.
This is a Story based Forum Role Playing Game here is the backdrop.
It is the far future.Humanity has expanded acrost the star's and established empiere's.However Humanity is not alone for Ailens vye for teretory and glory.Not only that but Demons and other supernatural beings lurk around every corner.It is the Far Future every day Empiers Rise and fall Battles rage billions are born and billions die.And the stars themselve's burn...
Here are the Rule's
[*]You'r charechter(s) may be Male or Female(or both or neither) it may also be Human Ailen demon ect ect it is all up to you.
[*]You may have as many charechters as you please.
[*]You may have just a independent charechter or a charechter with a army behind Him/Her(?) again it is up to you.
[*]You may use you'r own original sources or use a charechter or army from another source again it is up to you.
[*]Please keep it at the very very least semi serius.Remember this is a story based RPG however joke's to lighten the mood are wellcomed(and quite frankly encouraged) but please dont let it get out of hand.
[*]No instant army's.While you may have a small starting army to build up and train a large force takes time so please give it a few posts.
[*]No insta kills.You must give the other player a chance to counter you cant say"dakka dakka Such and such's Charechter is dead" however this rule can be bent when fighting army's but only to a extent.
[*]If you leave in the middle of a battle for more than 3 Day's the rest of the player's have the right to break the no insta kills rule and destroy you'r Force to keep the storyline going.
[*]Take a fall once in awile.lets face it everyone has to lose sometime you can retreat and rebuild.If you'r charechter is killed you can bring them back by varius means or make a new charechter.
[*]Dont spam the thread(i hope i dident need to say this)

Darhow Could feel a divine power within the core-tap. He seeked him out and saw that a preist was in the middle of blessing it. Of course, blessing would not stop him, considering He had conquered beings twice his strength from heaven. But, just for dun, Darhow materalized in the core room in front od the preist, and said "My my, you have been so wraped up in your studies of the other world and Unamed God, you have forgotten to eat!" And, unfortunatly for the preist, this was true. His buddy was getting thinner and thinner and soon his skind widdled away and his bones were all that was left. And then those were caught up in a blue flame and the corpse was reanimated. He sent it off to kill as many as possible. He didn't care what happened to it, this was just a pot shot at the emoporer. ------------------------------------------------ Darhws large fleet swept through the planetoids very slowly, but still, not many ships were lost. 23 seraphs were lost when a missle sliped through the magic sheilding and one capital ships engines went critical. But so far, his plan was going well...now that he had there attention, he materilazed in the core tap of the emporers ship. It was time to face him.

Octavian Sonja Dave and Robert had just goten there systems repaired.They advanced throgh the gravtransport twards the secondary comunications array.Octavian said"pump in some nanobots into the room lets check what is in there".Nanobots then pumped throgh the vents into the room and enter'd the explosive's rigged in the room.Sparks showerd from the explosive's and it then fell to the ground diffused.The door's opend automaticly.Robert and Sonja enterd the room first and coverd the service tunnels...

[b]Out of character:[/b] [i]Um... My ships are in the Capital System of the Imperium, Darhow already knows where they are already, because he was just there. Also, my ships are 4 times the mass of Earth, there are over 200,000 of them in the Capital System (though only 40,000 in range of the Emperor and his gaurd). Darhow has been beating the crap out of my ships with his dark powers, hence the attempt to stop him by blessing the Core-Tap. Your orbital guns aren't near me. Until all of my ships core-taps can work safely, I can't leave the system without 2 or 3 days of acceleration to break ino Hyperspace.[/i]

bacon greese gave a commision and put his ships, and planets, under the Imperial Guard. Shortly after the cerimony, he sent out a message to darhow. to attack Mink but not him. He was playing the sides. He gave the quardrants of Minks location and his status. He then sent off a message to Mink. that they had encountered darhow near Tinos. and he was damaged. the Lure was now in place. He Orered the orbital guns of his planets to attack Minks ship. If this where to run smothly, as he had planned. He would soon gain the power of the Imperial Guard. And add them to his army. Making him, the most powerful force, only to be rivelled by darhow himself.

MinkOWar accepted bacon greese's alliance. The Emperor still needed some way to counteract Darhow's powers, or at least sheild the planetoids from him. If they could, they could power up the planetoid's Core-Taps safely, and bring the full power of the Imperial fleet to bear on Darhow. Without the Core-Taps, acceleration was severely limited, and the more powerful energy weapons could not be charged for use. They needed some way to disrupt subspace around the Core-Tap. Jammers hadn't worked, and there wasn't much else that anyone could think of. At least, nothing [i]conventional[/i] that anyone could think of. There was one more thing to try. MinkOWar transmitted a message to another planetoid. Onboard the Imperial Planetoid [i]General MacLintlock[/i], MinkOWar's message was recieved, and the captain turned to the onboard coms, and opened a link to one of the chapels on-board. The captain beagn explaining to the priest, "Here's what we're going to try, I need you to go to the Core-Tap generator control station, and get inside. We need you to bless the Core-Tap." The Priest made his way to the control station, and then into the Core-Tap generator housing itself. Then, with his armor to protect him from its effects, they turned it on.

Duriya crawled along one of the access tunnels of the Fury of Hivez. She had managed to get around the lockdown and venting of atmosphere in the ship. She had used one of the regular’s armor to survive the exposure to the vacuum. The suit had been disabled from the EMP bomb that duriya had fasioned. As she made her way to the communications array, she managed to drop silently into the hallway and, picked up a security access card from an unsuspecting soldier. She entered the communications room, and quickly dispatched of the soldiers in that room with her sword. She then fired a round into the security camera, and quickly began the task of sending the data on her datapad to the subspace spy satellite in the neighboring system. The satellite would then randomly transmit the signal to a secondary satellite programmed to direct the signal to outpost 1. The transmittal was 58% done, when alarms started flashing. They had found her. She quickly aborted the transmission, and erased any sign of the transmission. She quickly rigged the door with explosives. She knew she didn't stand a chance against the regulars, so she re-entered the service tunnels and waited.

The major in charge of the strike team that landed in the mountains sat at a desk in the safe house inside the underhive of Hivez. One of his Junior offices came in, and reported. “Major, we’ve made contact with one of the leaders of the crime syndicate. He has some information for us, but he insists on meeting you in person. I personally don’t think it’s a good idea… these people are no better than thugs.” “Thank you private, but the information this man may possess is necessary for our mission here.” The Major made his way to the rendezvous point. He heard his spotter come over the comlink. “You’ve got one contact heading your way. He appears to be unarmed. He’s carrying what appears to be a data pad. Prepare for contact.” As the unkown figure approached the Major, he drew a blade, and attacked. The spotter quickly elimated the figure with his sniper rifle, as he fired, a half dozen other men came out of the alleys and buildings and opened fire at the sniper, causing him to take cover. the major ducked into an alley, and set a proximity charge against the wall. As two of the attackers rounded the corner, the charge detonated tearing the two men to shreds. The Major then opened fire on the 4 remaining men dropping two of them before they turned their attention to him, with their attention focused on the major, the sniper quickly elimated the 2 remaining men. As the major began to leave, a voice called out from the opposite alley... "Impressive. Unfortunately, our meeting location had been leaked to the Hivez. But since you so easily took care of them... let's deal. He produced a datapand hand handed it to the Major." The Major and his spotter returned to the safe house. “I’ll transmit this via subspace transmission, then we’ll move on the facility. Gather our men, we leave within the hour. We need to get the prototypes of these technologies that I’m sending, otherwise the information we’ve obtained won’t be as effective.”

Serath departed on the Dead Hand and returned to the OR base, on the edge of the Outer Regions. He left General Sirrap behind with an occupation force for Chi Cetii II, and a battle fleet for defense of the newly acquired system. He needed to find out wo or what that creature was that had been sending those Brumaks and Vampires to attack his ship. He began reviewing the security feeds to see if there was any answers, hints, or clues about them. He still couldn't shake the feeling that they were familiar, that he had run into those creatures before. He needed to find where they were striking from and soon. Serath cursed to himself, there was nothing on the videos. He closed down the security videos, and began reviewing the progress that the OR Base Outpost 1 had done in his absence. They had perfected the cloning tanks, and had begin building the first generation tanks. Serath issued orders for all of his best soldiers to report to the science lab immediately for "testing". Secondly, he read the report from the weapons and technology division, which was reviewing data that had been retrieved by the sensors from the battle with the Hivez fleet. They were making good progress, soon, they would know the weakness of the Hivez fleet. Lastly, he personlly went to the spy satellite and communications. This was the center where all subspace transmissions sent by all OR spy's and Special Ops teams are revealed. He had two reports to look over. One by the commander of the team that had gone to ground on Hivez, and the second from Duriya Gareira.

bacon greese was back, after a long period of staying in the shadows and buliding his army. His army now stood. about 100,000 strong, he had full control over all of the mining indusry in the galaxy, and he had 8 ships: [i]Tinos, Quest,DarkWatch, Gargan, Minion, and the 3 new ones: Kire, Napa, Cold[/i] He had been survaying the other factions now with care. He sent a request to MinkofWar to join forces. He didn't want to face him as an enemy.

Serath was thrown through the portal, back to the Dead Hand. He picked himself off the floor... and made his way to the bridge. Along the way, he eliminated three of the assassin robots that had been launched by the Hivez fleet. As he got to the bridge, he began ordering commands to his fleet. "Emergency lockdown, everyone report to the emergency vacuum shelters." The remaining crew members of the OR fleet reported to their designated vacuum shelter. A shield was generated surrounding them, and then the ship was exposed to the vacuum sucking out any unprotected objects, robots, or dead bodies. As the assassin robots were sucked out of the ship... the automated gun placements vaporized them as they exited the ship. "OK soldiers, report back to your stations, I need damage reports on all ships, a casualty list, reports on where the hivez fleet went, and where the pirate fleet went, and I need them yesterday." "Fleet, form up on me, we need to see what this other fleet has in store for us. Open a channel." The comm officer opened a channel with the other fleet "This is Lord Serath of the Outer Region Fleet. May I ask what are your intentions here at Chi Ceti II?"

Ok, I'm leaving for spain today, so you wont see me here for 2 weeks. Celestine picked up Serath and throwed him through the portal. The Brumaks and the small squad of vampire's returned from the ship with more humans to feed on. Celestine closed the portal and a large boulder whas moved infront of the entrance of the cave. Celestine also activated a shield around the cavern to prevent any portals to be opened inside it. As soon as Celestine whas done, she and the vampire's stepped into their coffins and the Brumaks went into Hybernation. "Now sleep, and when we return, we will become more powerfull then ever."

Apparently, The Planetoid armies suits wouldn't let him destroy them. No matter. So that all of the bodies could not be used in any religious ceremony, He blew up each corpse, splatter body parts across the holding cells and damaging the armor. Darhow hen returned from his trance and pulled up al ink with the prophet of Rebellion "I need all of your ships to help me destroy the enemy threat." Said Darhow "Ah, Darhow old friend, I would loe to help you...but I'm afraid we can't at the mom-"Rebellion was cut off as he started to choke. Darhow said slowly "Help me...please."and waited for a reply, still leaving the alien gasping for air "O...o-k!" Sputtered the prophet, taking a long swig of air and disconnecting the com link. ------------------------------------------------ With the forces of the new covenant(The elites, grunts, hunters), which was about 100 large capital ships, 1000 Standard ships, 50,000 phantoms and 1,000,000 seraphs, Darhow marched toward the planetoid fleet. As a last preperation, Darhow put a dark subspace sheild around all of the ships. This would protect them from most matter of this world, or at least deter it's effects. Even those light speed ballistics wouldnt do so much as leave a scratch on a ships hull. And with the standard sheilds that all covenant ships possessed..well, the planetoids were going to have one hell of a time destroying his new fleet "I hope you know what you are doing Darhow...this is the entire rebellion fleet, and without it, the new covenant is doomed." Rebellion told Darhow from the New Covenant city, [i]Unbroken Will[/i]. "Don't wory. I'll make sure most of you fleet comes home safe" He said as he jumped righ next to the planetoid ship "...Almost all of them?"Whimpered rebellion "What fun would it be if there wasn't any blood spilled?" Said Darhow, as 24 capital ships fired upon a planetid ship, ripping it to peices.

The power armor worn by Darhow's Zombies, detecting the allied signatures from other nanobots, used their gravity generators to direct the fire around the allies, automatically assuming that the threat was behind them. It began to circle the room looking for a target, and, unable to find one, the weapons simply circled the bridge. The wistling hurricane of ballistic rounds that soon filled the room began to become too thick to see through. The Emperor connected to [i]Evangelion[/i] and issued several commands. The weapons stopped firing, and the hurricane began to slow. Gravity pulled the ballistic rounds out of the bridge and into a trash chute. Then every suit of power armor worn by the zombies turned around and walked to an empty cargo bay, and waited there. The Emperor hoped that the bodies could be kept there until they could be returned to their families for a proper burial. They seemed to have finally gained some respite from Darhow's insane powers, for the time being, at least. It was time to find some way of effectively fighting Darhow. Trading mass at these ratios was ridiculous. It had cost the Imperium more than a thirty-billion-to-one ratio of mass to destroy Darhow's tiny fleets.
