A Note to noobs or old players returning (or even vets)
[b]I've seen (and experienced) the elitist toxicity of our community first hand. So instead of writing a forum post bitching about it, I've decided to do something about it.
I have opened up my wife and I's clan (she is somewhat new to the game as well) to helping people who are leveling, grinding, questing or wanting to learn the new raid or learn old raids and how to do them and work together as a team effectively.
My clan isn't about using others to get things done but about community first and foremost. Getting to know the people you are in the clan with and becoming a tight knit community of people that like playing the game. Talking amongst each other even if you're not playing together or even playing the same game and a place where you will never be put down for who you are, what gender you are, or how old (or young). Correct squeakers are welcome as long as they are respectful and follow the same rules as every one else.
My wife and I have had a steam group for years and have led a division of this community in other popular MMOs on PC.
I really miss the community my wife and I used to have and the friendships we had with those people. I miss people coming into party just to hang out.

Enrollment is open and inclusive. Any one can join. This is not an exclusive club for elitists. We don't care how high your k/d is or how high your light level is or how many times you soloed Oryx with one arm behind your back. We care about helping you and we want people to be in our Community because they like helping others as well.
