I've not had this issue mine works perfectly as long as you are landing precision hits it just keeps firing

Seriously? I have to reload every time. I can make precision hits and kills and the gun will just restore ammo to the reserves

Are you using tether as a hunter ?

Ok I got it now. Since it's a pulse rifle it only returns the round that made the precision hit. In other words it won't return that one or two bullets that missed. I didn't catch that since I was using it on trash mobs and two bullets from the burst would kill and in full auto it's harder to notice.
