Thanks for nothing bungie. I started the quest doing the Heroic Strike with the speakers mask got the next full bag of candy. Traded it in to Eva. The only mask I had in my inventory, at that stage, to continue the quest line was a Crota mask for the "kill 5 guardians with a sword "crucible quest. I do not play the crucible so this is not possible for me. I broke the masks down for the paper scraps which you clearly state can be traded to eva for another mask. Went to eva with 3 paper scraps in my inventory but she had no option that I could find to trade them. WTF!!! I can no longer participate in doing these festival quests or collecting masks as I have no mask to further any of the quests.
AGAIN, THANKS for NOTHING

You need 4 paper scraps to trade in for a new mask. Just get another empty candy bag from her and fill it up again for another loot bag

Another point, as I did not realise you needed 4 scrap paper for a new mask I have broken down the 3 masks I had so no longer have any masks at all so no way of getting another mask

Tried that but as I said the only quest line available to me was with the crota mask to kill 5 guardians with the sword in the crucible. I cannot use the other 2 masks to do any of the other quest lines. As I understand I can only fill the loot bag by doing the specific Festival of lost quests. I do not play crucible. I have tried and I suck at it and do not enjoy it. I was only given 2 masks to begin with and I got the third form the heroic strike, so I cannot get a 4th mask, which would then open the other quest lines for me. Bungie need to understand that there are plenty of players that do not play PvP but enjoy the Destiny PvE. As soon as they include a crucible component in a PvE quest line (A Sword Regorged is the perfect example) it prevents many players from completing that quest. Bungie have stopped me from participating in the Festival of Lost event because I do not play crucible.

Okay then I'll tell you what I do. Go to Siege of Warmind, kill thrills before hallowed knight. Once you've done that (don't kill the Knight) you can jump off the edge and wipe.

You understand wrong! U can fill candybag doing whatever you want as long as u have mask on and u are killing something in patrol, quest, strike, pvp maybe even raid, not sure why anyone would use mask on raid but still!

Crucible is a part of the game. Your problem if you choose not to play it. As well for the paper scrap issue, that's just carelessness.

I was carless in not realising you needed 4 scrap paper before dismantling my masks I also misunderstood that you could get other masks by doing regular patrols etc as I thought I was limited to these quests. It is obvious from your comments and the way Destiny has now setup the game that it is no longer for me and it is only for the elite few who can master all aspects of the game that then allows them to participate in all parts of the game including the Fun Halloween Festival of the Lost event. So I will take my 700 hours invested over the last 13-14 months (including the Moments of Triumph award) and bid you, bungie and destiny farewell. Enjoy YOUR game and YOUR community

I assume you have 3 characters? You can get one mask with each character! And if not then just make one!
