I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your item. The following services are not offered in Destiny:

While Bungie is unable to provide the above-mentioned services, they are working on improvements and new features to mitigate and prevent these issues from occurring.

But surely it's bungies fault. As I did not dismantle the weapon, it's just not there anymore and it's making me so sad

Then I would speculate that the weapon may have been accidentally used during Infusion or dismantled. Weapons disappearing from Inventories may be possible, but the chance of occurrence appears to be extremely low. Regardless of the cause, Bungie is not able to replace your lost Imago Loop. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it is the truth. Take care.
