When I was playing court of Oryx today I suddenly stoped earning candy for the new event. I knew that my bag was not full, so I checked my glimmer and sure enough it was maxed out. Everyone is going to have to spend some glimmer to continue to earn candy. Is this a bug or intended? I believe it is a bug and needs to fixed for future events.
