It's not a cheese if you have completed on hard the 1st week using the normal strategy because that was tough. You can hold your head up high and say you beat the hard raid most likely as the developers imagined.

Hey tardo if they didn't want you on the daughters platforms, they would have designed a way to keep you off. If they didn't want you kill the nights after you stagger oryx, they would have shortened the time. When destiny was launched they said they can't wait to see how we play the game. Some of us play smarter than others. That doesn't make it a cheese.

Bungie patched it eventually because it isn't a strategy. They actually redesigned taken king so people wouldn't be encouraged to find such solutions to hard endgame content like this kind of thing. I can't imagine they had this in mind with oryx. But hey if you want to sit on a platform and call it a strategy not cheese because it's too hard and thus avoid the end mechanics obviously put in there to make it harder, more power too you.

They didn't patch the rocks, they patched getting out of the map under the scaffolding. If you think squeezing under the scaffolding and jumping up on a giant feature on a map that is just the right height and has platforms to help you get up on is the same thing, then your hopeless and way to invested in a video game. If bungie patches the daughters platforms, then say something otherwise stfu. But guess what? I've done it both ways. For the record we killed our ogres and the Knights, therefore not bypassing any mechanic when we did it this way. But don't let that stop you know it alls from coming in here and telling us what bungie wanted. You must be a mind reader. I guess we all have to stand in the same place to shoot? The dumb can use the same strategy without adapting and the rest of us can shoot from where we want to.

This should be the immediate reply to all those bitching about this "cheese". Bungie released NO update mentioning how the raid was meant to be played so how the hell does everyone suddenly know it all? Just cuz the YouTube guide videos show one strategy it doesn't mean that's how it was "meant to be played" Twats
