First off more power to PvP players it's just not my thing. I'm a PvE player exclusively and like to collect the exotic weapons. It would be nice not to be stuck playing hours of crucible to get these weapons. Make it optional quest lines either PvP or PvE routes. The good PvP players take advantage of us "Fresh Meat" PvE only players and it makes the gaming experience completely not fun. Some of us did not get the game to play PvP and do not want to. That being said those who do want to should still have the option.
Thanks for your thoughts/input.

PvP players are literally the top half of the best gamers. Making them the people that play the most. That's a massive target audience
-
You don't have to seriously
-
I think the PvP requirements are good because PvE requirements are wayyy to easy. Anyone could do them. Every single jabroni in this game would be running around with every singe exotic with little effort.
-
Stfu. Stop being a bitch and do the bounties, or don't do them and stop crying.
-
Ya but it's not hard...I'm no god at pvp...but if I needed it to complete a quest for an item I just went on that Destiny grind and fought it out. Your acting like it's impossible to do. Trust if can pvp anyone can...just be smart
-
You aren't forced to do anything
-
Plz get good at PvP
-
Never we want you to do pvp and get teabaged you scrubs lol.

Edited by shinybac0n: 10/28/2015 3:45:22 PMi used to liked Pvp, never loved it but i liked it. unitl the quests came up. it somehow took the whole fun out of it. I dont like the phrase "being forced". Im a grown up, and i play a video game, im not forced to do anything. However, i used to play PvP for fun, to fool around, to do something different, never too serious. Now PvP has a bitter taste to me, i start hating it. I did the Thorn bounty and the Invective bounty, they were ok, i didnt enjoy them either, but they were not as bad as the current quests. I did the first sword quest quite quickly, was infuriating at some times, but doable (for my scrubby standards) but the second and third one......it was like cursed. I seriously was convinced my game is bugged. Didnt get a single sword kill for a long time. I still cant explain why or what happened, but I never got any heavy ammo. Ok cool, you can do this.... smack them with the hilt then.... nope shotgun to the face.... all strategies that worked with my first sword quest didnt work anymore. I started HATING this game. I've done it now.... but im scarred.....i dont think i will play PvP for weeks. Just the thought makes me gag! i want to go back to the time, where i could just hop into a game or two, get killed a lot, laugh and move on to something else. but knowing, theres always a quest lurking which i should finish takes all fun out it for me. I dont know what the solution to the problem is, i do understand that Bungie wants to mix things up. But i can also see some elitism growing which is a not so nice side of Destiny. You dont have the Chaperone??? YOU SCRUB, ITS SO EASY GIT GUD..... yeah, it may be easy, but is it fun for everyone?

99% of people who play PVP play PVE as well. But it's not the other way around. Every time someone refers to themselves as a "PVE player" it's just another corny casual who is too lazy to improve their skills at crucible or too scared to even try.
-
Having the requirements for a quest to be; Do "x" in PvP or "y" in PvE would solve the forced crucible activities problem that PvE players have. PvP players arguing they are forced to play PvE for stuff are basically saying that it's not fair they have to actually play they game they bought.
-
And? Us PvPers have to go into PvE for 90% of Exotics. How is that fair? And the exotics you get from PvP are terrible in PvE anyway.
-
think about the other side, cruciblers and cruciblesses have to invest more time for essential stuff like lightlevel just for being able to play iron banana or trials of lagissues.
-
Well us Pvp players are constantly forced into PvE and trust me that's a lot worse.
-
I don't mind the challenge of PvP quests (PvE player here) apart from the effing sword!! It's the thorn in my destiny side.
-
-
Or fix the God damn pvp so it's not a laggy babies game.
-
-
You can either git gud and stop complaining or just not do the pvp bounties altogether and not get the exotics. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. But I don't want to hear you complaining about not getting what you paid for when you're only playing half of the game
-
They never forced you nor are any of the exotic weapon bounties hard. EX: chaperon. Told you to use one of the best weapons in crucible AKA last word. And how do you not like PvP but like PvE? The PvE sucks because of its lack of replay value, sure it's fun the first time but that's it. The TK raid is already repetitive and is lack luster. And other than replaying the raid and the night fall there is no PvE activity that can raise you higher in light. At least in PvP there is a competitive aspect that keeps it fresh. If you're looking for a good PvE experience you're waisting your time on destiny.
-
Trust me, I hate repetitive PVE as much as you hate PVP. You spend more time farming materials in PVE then you do to complete exotic sword quest. And the exotics with hard pvp quest are exotics made for PvP. I have a chaperone because I'm good at PvP. I don't have a black spindle cause I'm ass at PVE. I've accepted that chances are I will never get spindle
I abandon all PVP crap..Regardless.
–ravager911 This guy has it figured out. Don't want to PvP, then don't. No one is forcing you to do anything you don't want. Unfortunately, if that's your decision, then missing out on those rewards is the price you pay. Nothing personal, that's just the way it is. Personally, I think it's nice the Bungie is incorporating PvP into quest lines. It breaks up the monotony of grinding out enemy kills or materials or whatever, and provides a decently challenging activity. Regardless of your skill, with enough practice and patience, everyone is capable of completing the required tasks. It's just up to you to dive in and break out of that comfort zone.
-
Then the same should apply to PvP ers don't force US to play PvE to get weapons we want. Most Armor and weapons (Exotics Included) can be obtained only via PvE and when there is a couple that require PvP people get angry? If you cant bother with PvP then you don't really want the gun otherwise you'd go through the hassle.
-
Agreed
-
Yeah see this I agree with, but them changing it is about as likely as them not taking it up the ass from Activi$ion..
-
The same can be said about pve
