So... anyone else thinking we might actually be the bad guys?
I saw this video recently and it kind of cemented some misgivings I've had about the Traveler, and especially the Speaker, since day one. For one thing, think about the last mission of the main game, what exactly are we doing? Busting into someone's house gunning them down WHILE THEY'RE PRAYING, and then killing their god all because the Speaker said do it. And this kind of scenario happens A LOT throughout the game. Think about it, how many gunfights have started with you shooting someone in the back of the head while their praying? This is not a thing good guys do. Let me know what you think, but I'm pretty sure we shouldn't trust the Speaker.

2 RepliesThe original story for destiny the speaker and traveler were villains. But Bungie reworked the story. Seems unlikely that they would've spent all that time pre-release rewriting the story just to have another variation of that kind of storyline.
