**Its long, be ready (that's what she said).** ***This is in response to many posts saying halo sucks now***    Been playing halo since the original ce. Played halo 2 with system links and split screen, never online.(was too poor at that time). Read the fall or reach as soon as it came out! Had amazing pizza parties/halo parties/sleep overs/sneaking girls in/cumming too quick :/ lol ah pre teen years (: Then halo 3 came out...I was too involved with real life adventures (as a young adult) to bother with it. Still had a few halo parties but not nearly as into it as halo 2. Ended up playing it (online) extremely late. Then didn't really get into halo wars or odst. Halo reach was great. Spent many many coutless nights ignoring my gf, just playing reach. Played halo 4 at launch til maybe a year in but then got caught up on adult life. Work, Family, etc...     I mention my history with halo to show that I'm not some casual halo fan or a new halo fan. Halo 2 was my game. Many fond memories involving halo 2. Those memories ties into great friendships, getting some pootang for the first time, getting high for the first time, getting drunk for the first time, sneaking out for the..... You get it. My point being: maybe all these complainers and whiners are trying to relive a good time in their lives. It has nothing to do with the fact that the "new" halos suck.    Now i come back into gaming, all of a sudden everyone loves reach. At the time when reach launched, all the "old" Halo gamers hated it. And Halo 4 was completely abandoned, at least within my circle (and everyone, everywhere it seems). Everyone hates sequels, even when they are great. They hate it, not because it's terrible but because the "originals" reminds them of the good ol days. Seems like this is just human nature. Every generation had it's elders criticize the youth. As a species, we cannot let go of the past. That is why social media sites that allow us to keep tabs on people we once knew but no longer talk to are so profitable. That's a different rant for a different time.    In conclusion, stop complaining about how halo sucks now because it has sprint, thrust, groundslam, slide, reqs, etc... No it does not make it unbalanced (guess what everyone has access to it). No, the story isn't "dumb" or uninteresting. Halo has now dived deeper into the lore than ever before!!! Thats a fact. The story is the same, if you liked the "orginal" halo story line but hate the "new" story line....then youre just an idiot. Again its the same story. When i played halo 2 i kept asking, where the hell is linda, kelly, and all those other remaining spartans. Now they're here! The story being "dumb" may be a valid reason to hate the "new" halos but like i said, its the same story, genius! There's no valid reason on why halo is ruined now. Perhaps technical reasons, mechanics, game play options, etc but halo 5 seems to have learned from halo 4. You need to add more variety to keep things interesting, that applies  to everything in life. I guarantee  that if halo 4 launched as the first halo ever, you'd be complaining about how halo CE sucks.     Yes it's a rant, yes my grammar and spelling is horrible. Yes I'm mad, yes I'm.... You're child like insults don't phase me.
