Before I begin, I would like to say this isn't my video (the person who discovered this is Bradley Freakin, and this is his video), but stick around because what you're about to see will astound you.
So, we all know that Bungie said that the King's Fall raid would not end with "hard mode" (a.k.a there will most probably be another difficulty).
In the video, a new location in the raid is discovered - most likely an upcoming location in the new raid difficulty that is rumoured to be on its way.
You'll notice that it's almost identical to the ship jumping puzzle in the vanilla raid, with a few tweaks to aesthetics. This hints that maybe the new difficult isn't just a harder version of the raid - maybe the whole raid changes.
We all know Bungie have said the basketball arena was just an Easter egg, but do you honestly believe that? I mean, to go to the effort to add something like that into the raid, and make it a trek to get there in the first place, must mean that it had a purpose. Could it be related to this new area and/or the new raid difficulty?
At the end of the video, a MAC cannon is also discovered hidden underground. Firstly, what's it doing on the Dreadnaught? And secondly, what's it doing underground?
So many questions, so little answers. What do you guys think? Share your thought in the comments below, and don't forget to upvote, favourite and bump for the whole community to lay eyes upon this post!

During the sunless cell strike you can actually see these on the portals to your left and right during the unlocking door portion.

Someone reply for later. Currently at school.

Bump for later please.

As the Kotaku article pointed out recently, the Dreadnought was in the original game, but was cut out and turned into DLC. So, this is most likely a leftover from the missions that used to occur on the Dreadnought but which no longer exist.

I used to question why they would leave these parts of content in the game to be discovered and lead to a bunch of drama...then I learned a couple things. This company lives on drama and hype They made a lot of content and then had to cherry pick where the "story" was able to take us. It's makes no sense for them to spend money to remove items they made and won't make them money for removing it. (Old engines) The dreadnaught (as much as you fan boys hate it) is well over a year old. You gullible foolish children. (I have TTK but it was given to me via license transfer....you know...for free!)

Great they're probably gonna sell this to us before they even Give us the free content they were planning to give us. Lol xD

Fun fact of the day. Did you know there is a favourite button for forum posts?

This reminds me of the original path for Vault of Glass, and how it's still accessible, but isn't considered the main path anymore.

Do you use aluminium or actual tin for your hat?
-
Maybe it's a mechanic in the heroic mode.
-
Now where are those fragments
-
What the hell is a halo 2 mission doing in a Destiny raid?
-
While pretty neat, they look like they're just extra resources/builds that weren't used. The MAC is probably something they were playing around with but tucked away. If you believe the Kotaku article, then you'd know that the toolset to work on Destiny absolutely sucks so it would probably be easier to tuck things away than delete them.

Just subbed but how did u figure this out the glitch at least
-
The cannon is how you escape the new raid instead of rage-quitting
-
Jumping puzzle just got a lot harder.

Bump for later. Only one bump please.

I thought this was going rk be another rick roll.

Check the new Crucible map on bungie homepage. Comes with Festival of Lost. Looks very similiar to the video.

Edited by W Silvermane: 10/27/2015 1:06:37 AMMost of that just looks like unloaded areas already in the raid, that's a pretty common thing. You just went a different way into it, not through the loading zone. Because whenever you go to a different part of the raid, it shows your team load into a different area, either below or above the area you were in. Most likely to save space. Crota's End did this with the transition areas. But VoG didn't because it was fully laid out as it was the first, except for the Atheon arena. But still, nice. The Cannon is interesting.
