The Daughters chest should stay until oryx is summoned. Just now I spent an hour or two on hard mode daughters and got nothing because I thought I had more time on the chest. I'm not saying Bungie owes me, but I don't want that to happen again.

Even if the chest disappears the loot does not disappear, it stays right on the ground where the chest is. I think it's funny people think you actually "open" the boss chests.

Just curious...is that like the Prison of Elders where if the other players open the chests before you get to them they disappear and you get NOTHING.... Absolutely stupid game mechanic.....
