Bungie you lost another one
3000+ hours and I'm finally done. The nerf of strange coins and weapons parts is the end of it. Add in making max light only available by doing the hard mode raid over and over with its broken rng and I'm done. Last raid I got 3 pair of boots on the same character and they were all lower light than the ones I was wearing. Year one grind sucked but was part of the game. Got rid of the grind in dark below and how for the most part. And then brought it back for ttk. Not to mention nerfed valus because he was a bullet sponge and people would quit the strike. TTK they are all bullet sponges. And I still don't even know what the hell the main story is.
All I wrote and somehow you people only catch the part about strange coins. I guess reading comprehension isn't what it should be here.

I agree, the bullet sponge bosses are what keeps me out of the NF and Weekly. It think the returned to the grind so that they can get Destiny 2.0 ready, which I really don't have high hopes for after playing TTK. I will continue to do bounties and patrol for the foreseeable future because I do love the scenery, weapons and armor. Great stress relief as well. Not really interested in the raid especially after hearing the NUMEROUS gripes about the RNG drops. It was fun while it lasted. Don't regret buying it though, I've gotten every dime out of it I spent that's for sure.

3 RepliesYeah, I noticed it too. Bungie's really emphasizing on the "grinding" aspect of Destiny this time around. Very low drop rates from Kings Fall, recently nerfing the drop rate for Strange Coins. Removing the "re-roll" mechanic introduced just a few months ago so players have to grind if they want their proper roll (not a major thing, but still). The release of TTK was, without a doubt, a big step in the right direction. The introduction of Quests, cutscenes that immerse the players into the story, characters given personalities that players could relate to, a mechanic that allowed players to rank up their weapons and keep them relevant (Infusion). Unfortunately, Bungie can't seem to follow one simple rule. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." It's one thing to go after Supers and/or weapons that are broken or too op, but it's an entirely different thing when they start messing with things that don't require any sort of change or adjustment. If there's anything I've learned from Bungie since the launch of Destiny, it's that they have a bad habit of always ruining a good thing. I've already decided to stick it out with the remainder of Destiny since my friends and I have invested thousands of hours into it, but come the release of Destiny 2 I can safely say that I'll no longer support Bungie or this franchise.

4 RepliesIt's like Bungie got the beginning and middle game damn near perfect. But the end game is atrocious. The raid is fun sure. And it's challenging. But the rewards are not worth the time invested. They just buffed nightfall so that's a start. Now they just need to buff the raid, increase light level on iron banner to 300-310, and make trials 320. RNG drops are fine in the raid if the loot is all 320. Otherwise they need to buff the drop rates and make it so moldering shards are an additional roll and not the only one.

Also I had fun playing new story and like them a lot they placed some annoying changes for the long term. 1st frustration after ending the story and quests: do they really have so few differnent weapons? ...tbc... Infusion: even if you have exotic drops - getting 290s exotic just sucks. Exotics: seen some boots? or someone lucky to get heavys? reduced exos to y1... great idea with infusion strategy...sucks lightlevel: raids, raids and hard raids...drops? same fungame as 290 exotic drop. nightfall: for--blam!-ing-what with lacking exos and why diable xp boost - does this really matter? wtf ...ok...still loving the games. - could be worse.. I was wrong - it can... infusion: not possible? why? oh no weapon parts...ok go grinding...hm..only so few? ah they reduced the number - holyhell how can someone even think about doing that and why wasn't he kicked after not keeping the stupids to himself? 1500h...!"§$%&/()=?)(/&%$§"!§$%&/

As a day one gaurdian myself I agree. I've pretty much given up on two characters, only focusing on my Lock. I just don't have the time to grind out all 3. The raid drops are so bad. I've completed Kings Fall 2 1/2 times and have gotten a ton of shards, the same chest and same scout rifle twice. Both less light then what I had equiped.

Thing that really ruined it for me is having a vault full of awesome weapons that took me 2000 hours to grind and I cant use any of them. This game was fun for so long because I could take my favos out on patroll and strikes. Now I just pick whatever gets me highest. Yaaay...

I understand perfectly. To me it is clear. This week I played several games with people of my clan, including assaults and raids. For test three people in my clan bought the benefit of the golden engrams to XUR and we got to kill bosses. The result was that after 30 of us picked up at least 8 engrams, all 310. The other two had 2 gold engrams, the remaining seeds and polyphagous In my case 290 helmet already had for my warlock and another 290 for a hunter, I played with warlock. The person you fell 8 gold engrams he dropped a purple engram also, to change the criptarca gave 310 golden. During the week this has been the general trend in my clan. The highest percentage of engrams 310 always falls on the same player. For the rest we're like you. So I suspect that the delivery system is not for random prizes and simply seeks to generate the desire for what others have. I think that is why time and again deliver the best game rewards to another by performing the same tasks. But without giving them reason to think that yours is an absurd complaint'll tell you that the solution actually is simple and unfortunate pair. You'll have to stop playing if the game will cause fustracción. Yesterday we laugh at what I have told you and we spent jokes to the person who had many emgramas, the end of the day is a game. Well you may not get to have a character in 310 to raid but it seems that just less, so we will continue having a good time watching them fall jackpots to a friend. Cheers

Sounds as though you may be burned out on Destiny. Put it down for awhile. You may get the itch to play again. And if that happens, Destiny will be waiting. And if you don't, well, it's just a video game.

I'm in the same boat buddy weapon parts are literally taking the piss and I really don't like the new raid all that much. I'm gonna give trials a go but if that's awful then I'm done, it's been fun but fallout4 and halo5 will keep me going for some time.
