Dude...I'm all for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness but these posts are getting ridiculous. How exactly are you supporting it and raising awareness? By wearing a Shader.? Ok....how does that raise awareness exactly? Because if I remember correctly, there are at least 5 in game that are pink. You want to actually raise awareness? How about donating to a charity that is finding new ways to fight Breast Cancer? Or volunteering at a hospital or something. Stop bringing such an awful thing into our video games. You treat it like it's a trend that comes around once a year and you all hop on the bandwagon, wearing your ribbons and posting to Facebook and shit. Until next month when everyone forgets Breast Cancer exists and no one shaves for Mo-vember. Oh wait...next month was meant to raise awareness for Testicular cancer. But I'm sure most of you don't know that.
My point of this? Stop asking for the Shaders. You're trying to make light of something pretty bad and it's really offensive. The only way I'd be okay with this is if we bought the Shaders with real money and all money earned was donated to a charity to further fund research to stop Breast Cancer. But wait, we as gamers don't like micro-transactions right?
Stop being selfish and stop with these posts. You wanna raise awareness? Destiny sure as shit isn't the place to do it.

Here is where the microtransaction system can really shine. Sell one, donate the money to charity. BOOM! Plus.... who doesn't like boobs, let's save as many as we can!
-
They are a bunch of manipulated bitches, everybody knows about all kinds of cancer, all that pink ribbon company cares about is money, the CEO makes over 700 K a year, of 100 + million dlls they got from donations and sales of products that had the pink ribbon they gave more than 90 % back to the companies using the logo in their products, it is pure greed and bull shit.
-
It doesn't impact you so....wah?
-
What a dick.

Is anyone not aware of breast cancer?
-
Edited by N7riseSSJ: 10/27/2015 4:49:47 PMYou know it's really quite a strange dichotomy where you, the OP, tell people to go donate their money and time to help the cause, but then you tell someone in the comments down below to go kill themselves. I really hate people like you.
-
Those posts are not about you. Neither is the idea. Think outside you're bubble and stop letting something that doesn't matter bother you. Maybe that would make others happy.... Like if they lost someone to breast cancer... Something you (or I) fortunately didn't have to go though. Lighten up... This should bother no one...
-
The only way to do it properly is to sell them through microtransaction, and the money should go to a medical organization or charity fighting breast cancer.
-
I agree, if the shaders are not actually bought with real money and the proceeds are donated to the cause its just a rather hypocritical and moot gesture. (This is coming from someone who has actually lost family members to Breast Cancer and I suspect a lot of you out there at least know one or two victims its just too common)

Nefertiti AK for tits
save the boobs
Sharing in game BCA is something people just like to do. Deal with it. You making a long ass dull post isn't going to stop nobody.
-
Okay how about this the destiny community raises money but wining games completing strikes and raids as an event with a shader as a reward anyone Down for that
-
Also, there are so many different Cancer benefit organizations, and different colors/ribbons. Are you going to just concentrate on one, or would there be a shader you could buy for every cancer support color?

Oh damn, that is actually a good idea. Having various shaders or emblems that donate to a good cause. I would definitely get on board with that. 100% They already did something like that though. They sold shirts to donate to Nepal and those who bought the shirt got an emblem and a shader. I would enjoy seeing mor things like that. A shader for a cause that you actually bought/donated money to get would go a hell of a lot further than just having it appear one day.

Edited by Kweh: 10/26/2015 9:57:50 PMIf I wanted to wear a pink shader in remembrance of my mother who died from cancer, i'm selfish? I'm all for a shader like that. Your thought process in regards to this doesn't factor in other reasons. You just made a blanket reason for it and called everyone selfish. This post is ridiculous. If people want to wear a pink shader, let them. It doesn't affect you at all.
-
If people really want to raise awareness donate to local charity for it. -blam!-... asking for shaders just because you want to raise awareness is retarded. You'll wear it for a day or 2 and thats it. Coming from someone whos from a very small community, everyone knows everyone and who their parents are and everytjing about you, when someone gets cancer, and form of it, the community does a fund raiser for them. People should be productive instead of wanting a -blam!-ing color in a game where frankly, no one gives two -blam!-s what color your guardian is.
-
I feel ya, most people are just trying to preserve their good guy badge.
-
Scauses.
Only some people will get this reference.
-
If they made a shader that you had to buy (being pink) and the money would go to charity.

Edited by Kitsune214 PS4: 10/26/2015 12:42:56 AMI'd be all for the paying real money for breast cancer things in a bunch of games. IF all the money went to the cause not the company
-
The Nepal shader did its job quite well. You're just salty and want attention.
-
Selfish? Your the only -blam!-ing person being selfish you prick
-
Did you not see the emblem and shader that you bought with real money for the earthquake in Nepal.
