Why is it that gunslingers only get 3 golden gun shots, 4 with the right helmet, but neither the titan nor the warlock solar subclasses have a similar hard limit?

Because the GG has waaayyyyy more range than the other 2. A GG will kill you the second he gets his sights on you. The others have to work for it since they can't instantly kill you cross map.

Warlocks have grenades and melee, up to two melee, and without the HoPF, it's about 4 grenades.

Gunslingers gun ability is infinetly more powerful for the crucible than hammers or grenades/ one hit melee. Sure the armor is less but the offensive potential of the hit scan shots is tremendous. The trip mine and throwing knives are also pretty clutch.

Because golden gun has the highest rate of fire... It is a hitscan weapon = no projectile travel lag... and it leaves you in first person so you can precision aim and see farther distances. That's opposed to HoS that slower RoF, has projectile lag, and puts you in 3rd person where it is difficult to see targets any distance away.

Because the super is only one part of the overall class. Gunslinger class as a hole in my opinion is the strongest pvp class in the game. Perks are amazing.

Don't be jealous. Sunsinger is only throwing none lethal grenades and sunbreaker hammers are dodge able. Golden gun is death on sight with no way to avoid it unless the user is a bad shot. Hammers are also rely on the remaining super gauge, meaning not throwing a hammer is still wasting a hammer. Gunslinger is in no way a terrible class and has been stop in the crucible all of y1

Yeah, I agree with the comments below, sunsinger shouldn't be in this, I assume you're wondering why sunbreakers have 7-9 attempts as to 3? Idk man, been wondering the same thing since TTK day1.

You can't exactly compare their power if their abilities serve different purposes. Golden gun has extreme aim assist, high accuracy and seemingly infinite range. It's a one shot sniper, with the option of aoe after-effect. Hammers have an arced trajectory and overall a different playstyle is forced. Radiance is just a 12 second grenade spam. What exactly are you comparing?

I know one thing sunsinger you have to have all your stats adjusted perfectly to get the right use. Another thing you get no where near the healing damage reduction or power the sunsinger gets it sunbreaker beats sunsinger in almost every way possible.

For sunsinger you have to manipulate the class to get solid use of it in pvp. It doesn't come out the box 1banging everything.

As for the Titan they also have a set number of hammers but it's in a much larger quantity Don't see how sunsinger compares to two classes that have insta-kill abilities

Why is it that shadow shot and nova bomb can kill people but ward of dawn can't? If these question seems ridiculous that's because it is just like your question. Just because a subclass has the same burn doesn't mean that it needs to have the same lethality or usage characteristic.
