So that it will still reload the weapon in the background after it runs dry and then you pick up ammo (or pop a synth?) Currently, if there's no ammo in reserve and then a brick is picked up, it sits there just in reserve indefinitely until u pull out the weapon (usually right when you need it...to see a disappointing mag of 0) and then put it away again for the requisite 5 seconds. This perk should be more intelligent than that. Thanks for listening!

Same happens if you have 0 heavy and pop a synth. You just reload when you get the ammo. It would be nice if they fixed it.

There is a simple fix for that. As soon as you pick up a brick. Pull the weapon out. Start the reload animation and immediately switch to a different weapon. It will activate the cocoon ability to proc.

Would also be nice to see cocoon pop up on the bottom left side to let you know a weapon has refilled.
