So we have proved once again that we always find the easiest way guys.
1. Weaken all four ogres but let them all go to middle
2. Once guy has relic go to top deathsinger platform across from oryx and stun him
3. Finish your ogres and drop into bombs. Because ogres didn't die earlier the knights and add sets don't even spawn until right as you're all 4 dropping in to detonate... Profit.. Easier than normal mode
Not me who came up with it already forget the guy's name but it's on the forums now take a peak he has video
Note: "not a cheese or not" argument thread stop making it one.
Someone linked a vid in comments here it is

Cheese fail. Looks like a smart strategy to me.
-
this wasnt a cheese when "A Legend Himself" two maned it on normal why is it one now
-
Not a cheese, bump if you think OP is stupid for putting it in his title
-
Edited by Big Schwifty: 10/26/2015 8:16:37 PMTakes a true idiot to hate on a strategy just because its better.
-
Alright well this was incredibly misleading. King's Fall has zero cheeses. Period.
-
That is not a cheese. Just because you saw some random people killing ogres in a certain pattern and then knights in another pattern on a youtube video does not make doing a different pattern a cheese. You are not asked to or are required to kill knights and you are not asked to or are required to kill ogres before making Oryx flinch, just like you are not required to detonate the blight orbs after each relic cycle (you can choose to detonate 16 at one time if you wanted to). I know many people first heard of the word "cheese" used in a video game context only because they play Destiny, but this is not a cheese.

Not a cheese. A cheese would be throwing 4 solar grenades at oryx's hands so he falls off.
-
It's not a cheese, confirmed by bungie employee...and you're a couple days late.
-
Why is this upvoted? It's not a cheese, misleading title...
-
You're an idiot.
-
It's not a cheese.

Edited by SteppenWCCR: 10/26/2015 6:36:36 PMNot a cheese...its just as hard for a group to get this down consistently as the regular method. On a perfect run it looks easy but getting everything to the right health, getting everyone to the middle platform alive, and racing to the bombs in the middle of adds before the knights get there isn't particularly easy in practice because of so many things that can go wrong (such as the ogres wondering off as far away from center as they can get). This pretty much nullifies the advantage of a player not having to deal with their knight right away. I've done both methods...don't think either is easier, just depends on the group.
-
Then when the 3rd mode comes they'll end up being captains up there now. Thanks guys.

Stop calling every damn thing a cheese. It's not like you're pushing Oryx off the damn map or pulling an Ethernet cable. You are using the proper mechanics the game design has for you. ~TheSpookyNike

Not a cheese. More like a strategy. A really good one at that.
-
Petiton for the word cheese to be replaced with strategy in the title.
-
This isn't a "cheese", just an easy strategy, a cheese usually involves some sort of glitch or exploit.
-
Please don't just throw around the word "cheese" we don't want Bungie to patch something that isn't broken.
-
not a cheese...and this stat has 4000 post in the threads already....
-
Not a cheese. Just a valid strategy in my opinion.
-
Bro yes it's a lot easier but it's not a dam cheese.. My team took an hour to beat it then tried again and never beat it.. All 310+ That's not a cheese to me..
-
where is the cheese? all i see here is a different strategy.
-
Umm I don't know about this being a cheese took us a long time to get it down with this method, we were with only two people over 310
-
I really don't think this is a cheese. It actually seems like a really interesting strategy. In other games like world of Warcraft where they have raids, you sometimes will have an encounter where you have to find the most efficient way to deal with some monster. Sometimes the most efficient way to deal with it is to just kill it. Sometimes the most efficient way to deal with it is to have someone just tank it and heal that person, while everyone focuses on other more important tasks Sometimes the best way is to prevent that monster from spawning altogether. The no knight strategy is an example of the latter, and there is still difficulty in the fight.

It's actually a pretty hard tactic. We tried it but once those ogres lock on to you jumping up to platform is near impossible
