Missing Calcified Fragment
For the past few days, I've been trying to finish my Touch of Malice exotic quest. I had two more fragments to find, the last one from what I heard is gained through completing the Court of Oryx bounty, I completed it with the last step being to beat an Antiquated Rune in under two minutes. I beat that, I go to my quest screen to see if there is a new step. There was none. So I go to the app and look into my grimoire cards, the Book of Sorrows and scroll down to the bottom. There are only five that have not been collected, the last five which no one knows how to get. I count the ones I have collected multiple times and even asked my friend to count them. We both counted 45. The quest requires you to obtain 45. I am puzzeled at why the quest has not appeared since. So, I go to orbit and look at the Dreadnaught screen and it says I only have 44 even though when I checked the app it tells me I have 45.

5 RepliesHi, So calcified fragments are character specific. The in game director on the Dreadnaught shows how many that character has found, while grimoire and tracking websites are account wide. In order to complete quest specific quantity requirements, all Fragments must be found on that specific character. Calcified Fragments found on other characters will not count towards the individual quest. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13630 Note: There are only 3 calcified fragments left undiscovered

All 45 need to be on one character. I'm assuming you picked up one on an alt and that's why it's showing you 44
