Chaperone fans?
So far, I really enjoy this gun. I'm still adjusting to it personally, but I can see people who are very good with head shots with the gun being able to go on some impressive kill streaks with this shotgun.
I'm not sure what it is, there is something just so satisfying about it when you do out play another shotgun user or gun down a primary user at an extended range.
Still got quite a ways before I get good enough to reliably get head shots all the time with it, but so far, I feel it was certainly worth the long ass quest chain.

Most fun weapon out there. Competitively I have to say the quest reward Conspiracy-D is a little better. Same range for a headshot kill, but longer range for a bodyshot kill. Still, the twirl reload, whiplash sound, headshot kill sprees, and everything else about the gun is just a blast to use. I love laying down some Chaper-ownage in the crucible.
