Legacy Engrams?
So I've been going to Xur every week, and he only seems to be selling heavy legacy engrams, I'm an unlucky player, I do pvp, iron banner, strikes, and I haven’t got any exotics, I don't want a heavy weapon I want primary, does the engram decode into any other type of weapon?
ps: I know it decodes into year 1 weapons with year 1 stats

"Gate lord spawn instead of tank will use your coin". I ran roughly 25 strikes today and got 7 exotic drops, I got The SuperCell as my second drop.... Also that's an exotic every 3.5 strikes.. P.s. I ran 10 strikes straight without a single drop, then they started dropping like hot cakes. So 7 in 15 strikes if you wanna look at it like that. Basically an exotic every 2 strikes. P.s.s Run level 36 strikes, easy and don't take long with the better chance of drops, plus you might get the strikes rare legendary drops.

It does not. Although, doing year one activities can only grant year 1 exotics. Ex) VoG
