Question about xur exotics

I've seen a lot of people saying they're getting 310 chest exotics from the xur engrams. I'm light level 295 with a 306 chest. What's the chance of getting a 310 exotic for me? I'm just wondering if it's worth it to use to infuse with. The helmets I brought were all light level 280 though. Thanks

You have to be over 300 light to have a chance of engrams decrypting into 310 exotics
