Did anyone read the weekly update and notice they said they were not going to sell stuff through Eververse? Well guess what they are!
If you go speak to tess in the tower and read her returns policy it states that "Consumable items are nonreturnable". In The Taken King what consumables are there that don't alter the games experience? Some may say items such as synthesis, telemetries and consumables like black wax idols and ether seeds aren't that big of a deal, but none the less it's still a consumable. Eventually they're going to turn round and sell things like the three of coins which is ridiculous! It may not be a guaranteed exotic but it's still the chance! Bungie and Activision had a good thing going with destiny and now they are ruining it with micro-transactions, and we all know Activision are a huge fan of these.

You do realize that emotes don't alter the game experience at all, and 3oC isn't exactly a game altering consumable either.

You either need to calm down or eat a snicker's.

Why don't you leave? And just never come back. I mean it's a great idea.
-
I'm right there with you bro, they lied their asses off. Telling us its all cosmetic, liars and cheats.
-
It's purely cosmetic.

Good lord. WHO CARES!?!?!?! What is with people wanting to whine about every little thing? If they do add stuff that you can buy with your hard earned cash and people choose to do that then they are just using money to get what you can get for free. Some people like wasting money. In the current scheme of things with so many game developers going under, I can't blame them for trying to make as much money in as many ways as they can. In all honesty I really don't care if some brat with loaded parents buys his way to the best gear in the game. It has ZERO effect on me and how I play. Besides, there is still no guarantee this ever happens. Just a bunch of whiny turds boo hooing about "knowing" it will happen and it "being inevitable."

They explained this ... its an old code for the three of coins and such. It was going to be sold with tess but they decided against it. Slow down and take a breath. All is ok kiddo
-
You're completely right! You should quit this game in protest and never come back! That will show them the evil of their ways!

Also this post is better suited for #Feedback

Edited by sjsharks13: 10/22/2015 10:20:01 AMThey've already stated that they are only going to sell cosmetic based items, nothing that will alter gameplay. They will not add items that will alter gameplay simply due to the fact that they know their game is all about grinding for better gear. Without that grind this game is practically nothing and they lose a shit ton of money. I mean what's the point of playing a game if you can just buy everything? Bungie and Activision realize this.
-
They already addressed this, you are full of shit.
-
bad bait fella
-
Didn't Luke Smith already say they are not selling consumables? The consumables the people data mined ended up on the cutting room floor and will not be used. You may come across an NPC that mentions it simply because when they cut it from the game they missed some dialog. It would be hilarious if Bungie spent time fixing this problem before doing anything about the major issues in Destiny like making my Ace of Spades worth using in PvE.

You're right. I'd recommend playing a better game.
-
Show me where it says consumables hinted at are beneficial over cosmetic
-
Ur a moron to think they wouldnt. In any game once u add real money into a game. U pretty much destory it. Bc they will always start selling other things that will effect game play
-
Wow you like to argue based on semantics don't you?
