First of all let me say that I am not confused by when the cutoff was and yes, I did preorder the digital edition before the cutoff date. I am a year 1 (and day 1) player and had the digital guardian edition on xbox one (that included both dlc's). Here is the catch. I have destiny on both ps4 and xbone. When I went to preorder the collectors editions they only had some ps4 physical collectors editions in stock (all physical collectors editions for xbox one were sold out). I decided to go ahead and preorder the physical collectors edition for ps4 and the digital collectors for xbox one. Here is the catch within the catch. The preordering of the xbox one digital collectors edition only was the preordering for a code for the digital collectors edition. I didnt receive this code in any form until launch day at midnight. Since I couldnt use the code until I got it the xbox store would only recognize that I "purchased" the game 3 hours before launch when in actuality I technically had it preordered since the week after E3. I can probably pull a bank statement if that is what I need to do but please bungie staff, tell me if there is any hope for me receiving any compensation for preordering the digital collectors edition (code) from gamestop?
