I'm banned from the crucible for no reason!?
I'm frustrated cause I've got a ban from the crucible for no valid reason? Please explain & help when is this going to end? I demand Compensation for this fault I'm a genuine player never abused any aspect of the game...

No they do not warn you, they do not tell what type of problem you have, they ban without explanation or recourse. They do not let you know how long it is for. They do no respond to help and they do not support problems, you can not test or check to see if anything helps because you are banned. I played pvp and got through striker and void quest while red without issue like people not dying or glitches, then 2 nd day of 2nd character to rank 3 in Iron banner all weirdness, shadow shots stayed inert but visible ibn the same spot all game. The next day surprise, banned. Don't get me wrong I loved the game and have logged a lot of time and effort into it. I hate cheaters but if this is this is there solution it is really bad company relationship with players. I am open to suggestions because Bungie is not listening. Wrote a letter to CEO and complaint to FCC. How about a go fund me account for a law suit, maybe make it cheaper to have their own dedicated PvP servers than court cost. To date tweets, help feedback forums have been useless. Bungie is unable to connect someone from 3 time zones in a clan yo play pvp without bouncing you around to the point ping, latency and lag are unpreventable. It does not matter what forum, help feedback or here, these guys have their fingers in their ears going la la la. Maybe eververse is right because they seem more interested in micro transaction $$$ than unfairly banning players.

3 RepliesI would assume that first and foremost you have connection problems. Secondly, make sure that you frequently check your connection in game and try to avoid playing on any redbar. Also with any red bar in your fireteam as a ton of people will assume that you are trying to manipulate the game by doing so

3 RepliesHaving a bad connection to crucible game can get you banned. Now you may be thinking thats not cheating, but by having a bad connection you ruin the crucible experience for 7 other people.

1 ReplyHey there. Could it be your connection? If your Internet connection is consistently unstable, you may not be considered a worthy adversary. It may happen that you’ll be temporarily restricted from Crucible activities until your Internet connection improves. Bungie only make these types of Restrictions in the most extreme cases, so don't be concerned about the periodic Internet lag that is common to everyone.

I got the same issue. Been playing the game for over a year, just trying to do some iron banner, and suddenly restricted I guess for at least a week. So no more iron banner. No warning. Saw a few people teleport slightly in a couple of games, but no terrible lag. Have the same ISP/router as the entire last year, no issues until this week. Don't like this move, if bungie likes to randomly ban players without explanation/warning will likely be done with their games soon. Luckily halo is almost here.

You are in the wrong part of the forum right now. And from what I know Activision doesn't care about this kind of problem, so you have to talk to Bungie themselves ! I mean if you haven't done anything wrong you shouldn't be banned, they don't do that manually I don't think, it's probably robots so you should talk to them and tell them what is happening they should help. Please tell us how it's evolving. See you o/

13 RepliesThis makes me mad. Why did they ban you for bad connection when they have No dedicated servers. You can't even run a raid without lag half the time. I can't even play destiny with my cod friend from Australia. Tell me you never seen a friggin ogre regen. So damned mad. Spend 500 mil on a game make it back first day and never ensure the customers have reliable service. I've posted many times in the forums about dedicated servers yet never got a response but if you wanna buy silver and can't figure stuff out you'll at least get a mentor to respond. Seriously check out the Eververse section of the forum and count the responses. Shows you where Bungie priorities are. l

1 ReplyIn the same boat. Never cheated in a video game in my life. It was a serious slap in the face to some one who has been here from the beginning and who has unloaded 150 dollars this last year in this game. I will have to really think hard about going forward with Destiny.

2 RepliesIf your connection is so bad that you are red barring the whole time, whether you benefit from it or not(Which I can see that you obviously don't, no offense, seriously), you will get a temporary ban, I would suggest tweaking your router settings, if you have changed your MTU for any reason, legitimate or not, change it back to default. Don't stream movies/youtube while playing Destiny or anything like that if your connection can't handle it. It's just temporary, Bungie rarely hands out permanent bans, mostly to console modders when you ruin the experience repeatedly after being banned in the past. All bans are final, Bungie doesn't discuss bans/restrictions and all decisions are final. You're out of luck for the next week or so. I don't think you were intentionally doing anything wrong, but if you were having connection issues, they are pretty much cracking down on that kind of thing now.
