Hello PS4 owners! Are you having trouble downloading the patch 2.0.1? If so, there can be a number of different things that could be wrong with the patch. 1. The Patch may just appear to be 18GB at first. Until PSN/Destiny verifys that you have downloaded the other patches, this patch is going to show up as 18GB. Once it verifies you have the other patch's installed, this patch will be the normal (around) 500mb patch. 2. The download is stuck at "Preparing to download" or at 0%. I would suggest to power cycle your console and your Internet router by following the steps below: 1. Unplug your console and router from the wall 2. Wait at least 30 second's 3. Plug both cords back into the wall 4. Start up your Console and attempt to download the patch If power cycling still fails to "unfreeze" the update then could you please report below. 3. Currently, there is a glitch where your PS4 actually prompts you to download all of the patches over again which is 18GB. Bungie is aware of this issue and they are currently investigating. The best thing to do right now would to let the 18GB patch download. [b]EDIT:[/b] Bungie is also aware that the update may appear as 1.17 instead of 2.0.1 [b]Edit 2[/b]: Are you receiving a corrupt file error while downloading the update? If so, I would suggest to clear your consoles cache by following the steps below: 1. Completely shut off your console 2. Unplug your consoles cord from the wall outlet 3. Wait around 30 seconds 4. Plug the cord back into the wall and turn on your console 5. Relaunch Destiny and attempt to download patch [b]Edit 3[/b] Most of you are reporting that the power cycle failed to start the update. While attempting to download the update, I would suggest to maintain a wired connection while doing so.
