Edit- 5/9/2016= Updated based on the April Update's changes. Toned down some things, rebalanced some others. Funny enough, Bungie actually used the idea for Life Steal/Soul Rip being triggered on hit instead of on kill, as well as Sunburst always creating an orb on kill. I'll have two other threads of this kind just to keep conversation in the comments more focused, assuming people wish to discuss the ideas. This one in particular is about Warlocks. [b]Voidwalker[/b] Nova Bomb- Hurl an explosive bolt of Void light at the enemy, disintegrating those caught within its blast in a mostly vertical radius. Increase the damage by 40% so that it's viable in PvE against bosses. (Reducing the horizontal radius would turn Angry Magic or Shatter into more play style oriented choices to turn it into a more wide ranged attack, negating the weakness.) Ability Mods Annihilate: Increases the size of the explosion created by Nova Bomb and all grenades. Angry Magic: Nova Bomb slows down and aggressively tracks enemies when nearby. Ability Mods 2 Vortex Mastery: Increases the range of Axion Bolt seekers and the duration of the vortex effect of Nova Bomb and Vortex Grenade. Bloom: Enemies killed by any of your abilities explode and leave a damaging void pool behind. (lasts 2 seconds) [b]Sunsinger[/b] Scorch Melee: A powerful melee attack that ignites enemies, causing damage over time. [u]Mods[/u] Solar Wind: Hitting an enemy with Scorch knocks them far back and creates an AoE burst of fire, igniting nearby enemies. (Return cooldown to prebuff state. AoE will burn Guardians up to 50hp. Up to 75 with Viking Funeral) Brimstone: Removes the burn damage, opting for a single powerful hit. Killing enemies with Scorch causes them to explode. (Return cooldown to prebuff state. Running Touch of Flame + Viking Funeral would allow this to one shot even Max armor guardians) Radiance: Fill yourself with Solar light, dramatically increasing the effectiveness of all your abilities. [u]Mods[/u] Song of Flame: While active, Radiance reduces all cooldowns for nearby allies on activation. The buff lasts for the entire duration of radiance. Fireborn: Radiance can now be activated from beyond the grave. Doing so returns you to life and fully replenishes grenade and melee energy. Ability Mods Radiant Will: Increases the duration of Radiance and grants increased recovery while radiance is active. Ability Mods 2 Angel of Light: Aiming your weapon while in the air will drastically increase accuracy and hold you in place for a short time. (grants Icarus and hotswap)
