I've been meaning to make this topic for awhile. I'm actually surprised no one else has commented on this but whatever. I usually only comment and reply on other topics although to get some discussions going I guess I'll have to put the first foot forward. I've played the Moon strike featuring Taniks tens of times and no doubt plenty of people here have as well. Throughout the said strike Taniks mutters inaudible dialogue that the subtitles determine to be "Fallen chatter and laughter" but when you finally get to the room where you actually kill him, he taunts you one last time in what I perceive to be a vulgar way. Again this is just my interpretation like when I played the original Starcraft running Windows 95 on PC, whenever the Protoss Dragoon unit dies, I kind of feel like he's muttering "F you..." Or how a friend of mine claims he knows what Kenny McCormick is actually saying in the opening theme of South Park but I won't repeat that here for obvious reasons. I'm getting off track now... Back to Taniks, if you raise the volume up high and listen very, very closely it sound like he's grunting "Chicken shit!" This is as he first teleports in the room you kill him in remember. I've mentioned this to some Xbox One friends of mine as we ran it and they all seem to agree it can at least be close to sounding like that even though many would disregard it as Fallen gibberish like when any off screen adult would speak on Peanuts or the Minions saying anything at any given time but I can't be the only one here who's thought like this, right? In contrast I do believe it makes sense as if he's challenging you to finish the job so to speak while being demeaning to you. I ask anyone who hasn't done the strike yet to do so. Yet since this is a T rated game I don't think it was intentional, like with the Minion McDonald toys cursing. Just expressing my thoughts is all.
