I know the answer is pretty obvious to most people but i still want to hear others thoughts.
Im going to say titan. All through year one titans have had the worst melee, exotics, grenades, pvp abilities, supers, and often seemed like a minority of a class. In year 1 it kind of felt like titans were just a piece of garbage added into the game right before launch.
I feel like Sunbreaker was bungies way of saying "Sorry you guys were trash for a whole year, heres a present."
Let me know what you think

Edited by Syronck: 10/11/2015 6:11:46 AMNone. Titans had the greatest exotic ever, the Armamentarium. Combine that with Lightening grenades and hallways became deathtraps. Enemies in PvP and PvE alike cowered in fear at those grenades, or died to them. Defender was the greatest thing since sliced bread during the raids and possibly even PoE depending on your group. Strikers cleared everything in their way with grenades and Fist of Havoc. It became so useful, other classes wanted it nerfed, because Titans learned it could wreck all the stuff we used to fear. Warlocks were the saving grace of nightfalls with self-res, and even trials later on. Also, that grenade spam could clear rooms as well as any Titan. Voidwalker was the mobile Fist of Havoc with the Nova Bomb, capable of stopping much in their path. Hunters were the clutch members of the groups, able to turn invisible if Bladedancers to revive people in bad situations, and to do massive damage to higher level enemies with golden gun. Hunters excelled in crucible, but they were not the best. The players behind them were. A player could make any class shine if they understand them. So no, no class was shafted in year one. In year 2, Titans got Sunbreaker, a far more offensive Fist of Havoc. It wasn't an apology, we needed none. It's currently the Bladedancer class, and once people start figuring out it isn't so scary, it won't be a big deal anymore, just like Arcblade isn't. In year 2, Warlocks got Stormcaller, a 'clear the room' class, that excels at what it is intended for. Currently, it's the 'panic' super when it has landfall, but so what? If they activated it, probably would've died anyway even without the perk, or at least both of us would've died. In year 2, Hunters got Nightstalker, a support class. People who use it defensively or supportively excel with it and generate vast amounts of orbs for their allies to keep destroying everything. They can turn groups invisible, they can scout things, they can shut everything down. Everyone got a nice surprise with the new subclasses, not a single one is an apology. No one got shafted in year 1, no one got anything OP in year 2. Anyone who says otherwise didn't understand a class very well, didn't play as a class, or didn't understand what their role was supposed to be. Trying to break the intended role ends up with problems. You can't effectively play like a Titan on a Hunter, or vice-versa. You can't play Warlock like a Titan or Hunter either. Trying to winds up with death and wipes. So please, don't speak for others when you say Titans got shafted, because it's only 'obvious' to PvP oriented people who never learned how to play a Titan properly. Titans, just like Warlocks and Hunters, were never shafted or gifted the godly power of death that the others didn't also receive.

1530 people said Titan. I don't even want to know. Any explanation would probably just give me a headache.
-
I say warlock only because of how many times Xur sold sunbreakers
-
Where's the none or that's stupid option?
-
Defender Titans were very strong. They were more or less mandatory or 90% of total raid completions. Helm of St14 and Armamantarium were very strong exotics. However they definitely got shafted on melee range and other armor exotics. I don't know he Bungie insist on giving them worthless movement based exotics.

Why do these types of posts exist? If you like titans, adapt and use them... If you think they're underpowered or don't, then make a hunter or a warlock...
-
Edited by boff: 10/11/2015 5:42:10 PMTitan awesome pve super and striker was great for PvP.....Titan had the best of both worlds where as the Hunter was only useful for PvP although granted the invisibility for ninja revives was handy for nightfalls.

Titan. Bubbles could be popped in crucible... by gernades. Strikers have to get within the unholy shotgun ranges for FoH or shouldercharge. WE HAVE FCKING TREX ARMS. We had very few good Exotics. Aka Armermentarium, Saint 14. Ruin wings would work only when it wanted to. If there are multiple wizards on arc burn there is no garuntee a titan bubble will hold. The WORST of the 3 sticky gernades, and to add insult to ingury... it's on defender e.e

Defender was the best Y1 class
-
They are all good. And now they're even better.
-
Hunters got shafted the most last year and ayone that says otherwise is just stupid. The class got nerfed 6 times and once more before year 2 started while Warlocks and Titans remained unchanged. Its like everytime i got on the forums somebody was complaining about BD or GG when they didnt last long and with good timing and actual SKILL you have an actual chance to kill them during the super but NOW Stormcallers and Sunbreakers need there nerfs because it is COMPLETLY unbalanced and broken when compared to ANY Hunter super
-
Has no one brought up xur and his affection for selling the sunbreakers?
-
Too many PvP players here. Titans were easily the MOST useful PvE class in Year One (and I'd say they're STILL the most useful in Year Two), followed by Warlocks (that self-res was way more useful back then) and then distantly by Hunters (for two segments of one raid they're somewhat useful, though unnecessary since a Defender with the Helm of Saint-14 skunks the thrall run anyway). Year 2 shifted the focus to: Titans > Hunters > Warlocks. Nightstalker is an extremely valuable asset to any team about on par with Defender. Self-ressing isn't nearly as useful as it used to be, and Voidwalker and Stormcaller, while extremely powerful, are purely offensive. Warlocks really don't have too many support options.
-
Titans were useless besides giving a bubble to teammates
-
I don't think hunters mind getting "shafted" :o
-
I preferred my titan in Y1 for difficult content, even though I main a warlock. A titan with Saint 14 was always welcome. If you are talking PvP ... Don't know, don't care.
-
I think everything was pretty balanced. Titans are just a bunch of cry baby's....
-
So we're going to pretend Titans b!tching about Arc blade and getting it nerfed when it was not overpowered was a thing
-
I disagree. Hunters didn't have anything pve worthy til they started solo/glitching crota, and warlocks were just good for revive. Titans were what you wanted during pve content (and still) When it came to raid groups, everyone always took titans over anything. Bubble titans may have been lackluster in pvp, but slamjamminshouldercharging worked just fine. I don't get this "titans were neglected" mentality. All the classes got some serious love this release.
-
Clearly it's voidwalker. They are the only class with a perk named javelin
-
I'm going to go out on a limb, but I'm guessing there's some sort of hidden message OP is trying to convey...
-
Um Helm of Saint-14 End of story
-
Enjoying my Sunbreaker while it lasts. Don't like it when non Titan loyalists jump ship from hunter to Sunbreaker just to be op again. If you are not part of ^ then I'm not talking about you. Funny how warlocks get a ranged Bladedancer, but no one complains about them. Why doesn't Bungie just balance PvP by only allowing PvP vendor weapons into PvP and lock out the Vanguard, raid and exotic weapons from curcible. Why do people have shotguns equipped when fighting Oryx? Don't be rude, this is just my opinion. Have a good day.
-
Titans were not garbage in year one, I always did well with it when I played crucible and being the support class in pve is fun too
-
I disagree with the worst exotics thing. That was their way of making it up to us for being a Crappy class. Helm of saint 14? Easily best exotic in The entire game. Helm of insurmountable skull fort was trash, and they made it better for year 2.

has anyone tried blade dancer on level 41 strikes, using the super is like asking to die XD, golden gun non nighthawk doesnt seem to do much better
