Hello Guardians,
I am a pretty experienced Warlock, and have been playing Stormcaller now pretty much exclusively since TTK release, but have been struggling to understand a few of the finer points.
One that is really bugging me is the effectiveness of the talent "Rising Storm" in our melee tree. It says that it should charge our "Super, Ability and melee energy" but I really don't see much of anything happen when I actually use my Thunderstrike charge. It pops up on the screen for a very short time and is gone. Now I expected this to at least work similarly to Energy Drain in our Voidwalker subclass, but am I wrong in observing this is even less efficient?
Just would like to know if anyone has done any detailed look, crunched numbers, etc, and can help me understand what this talent choice is actually doing for us.
Thanks!

One thing you gotta remember about that particular perk is that you have to get a kill from it. You can't just use it. Wasn't sure if you knew that already.

The amount of threads literally BITCHING about things on these forums that get swamped with attention vs legitimate game mechanic and theory questions that get ignored is UTTERLY DISTURBING.

Bump.

I think you should be able to use storm trance from death to revive.

Energy Drain with Soul Rip gives you super energy equivalent to about 3 orbs of light while Rising Storm gives you about 2 orbs worth. This remembering they decreased the amount of light they give you.
