Fix fusion rifles, sidearms nerf shotguns
Remember how you had stats showing what type of weapons people used the most in pvp? Well what do they say now? 99% of players use shotguns because you made everything else suck and shotguns wayyyyyy too overpowered. It's ridiculous when a shotgun can one shot people from medium range without even having to aim.

3 RepliesThat's a huge over exaggeration. Shotguns are powerful, yes, but by no means can ANY kill at medium range. Especially not without aiming. Fusion rifles however? They can and will kill at medium range. People just use shotguns because they don't want to deal with the fusion charge time. Although, I do agree many fusion rifles could use a buff, there's plenty out there that consistently kill way farther than any shotgun. Shotguns are so easy to counter. If you're consistently letting people get close enough to kill you with a shotgun then that's completely your fault. You really want something to complain about? Then complain about the unbalance of the new supers.

I agree. There needs to be a point, before a match where you debate to use either a sidearm, shotgun, fusion rifle, or sniper. Not just, Shotgun orrrrrrrrrr shotgun.... Yeeeah. Good post. :3

Shotguns still the top secondary. Doesn't look like they are going anywhere except for trials of osiris where snipers are finally useful. Fusion rifles rarely exist in PvP and when they do basically side step them and you can wreck them. Shotguns are the only gun that you can't avoid, and still the most versatile

I agree everyone who disagrees with rebalancing shotguns and saying shit like "ohh you suck, just combat them blah blah" is full of crap and runs a shotgun all the time. PvP, nothing needs to be said if you don't use a shotgun you are at a severe disadvantage. Don't argue. Would you rather use a sidearm or fusion rifle or sniper rifle and "combat shotguns?" Don't answer that because I'm sure you run a shotgun 100% of the time anyway so your opinion is irrelevant. PvE is the main issue here. Shotguns and Snipers only. You'd be a fool to run fusion rifles and to a lesser extent sidearms. And that's a problem. They really need to take a look at fusion rifles especially because why have them in the game? Why are they useful? What's there purpose? Does using it benefit me and my fireteam in any way. And the answer to all these questions is obvious. No they aren't. Even sidearms are a better choice, DPS wise. So they need to take a look at this immediately. But they probably won't.
