Suggestions on New Voidwalker mechanics

With the introduction of the new subclasses from The Taken King, I feel that the Voidwalker subclass needs an upgrade to its destructive power. Let me start off by saying that I love the warlock Voidwalker. I just feel that it's power is a little underwhelming. I think that there are some changes in the mechanics of the subclass that could promote team play and solo play. To start off, I would like to share the philosophy of what I think the Voidwalker resembles. The Voidwalker is like a glass cannon. He gathers a tremendous amount of destructive energy in the palm of his hand and unleashes this force on his enemies. The only problem with this in the game is there are no other ways to increase his power so that the nova bomb does more damage. There have been countless times that I used the nova bomb on an enemy and it nearly survives because of the weak power that the nova bomb currently holds. With my suggestions to increase its power, I feel it will enhances cooperative gameplay as well as leaving the crucible solo play intact. Nova bomb new mechanic: Summon a void ball of energy that increases in strength for each enemy killed or orb of light absorbed. Release the nova bomb by pressing LB and RB. Under this mechanic, you have 20 seconds to fill your nova bomb to its maximum potential in a 3 level format. Level 1= normal current nova bomb damage, Level 2 = gain lance effect, increase damage x2 and blast radius increase 10%, Level 3(max) = gain lance effect, increase damage x3, and increase blast radius 20%. Over your super meter, there will be 8 slots that need to be filled. Summoning the nova bomb energy equals one slot filled automatically leaving 7 more needed to be filled. 4 full slots = level 2, 8 full slots = level 3. So you have to kill 7 enemies or absorb 7 orbs of light to reach maximum nova bomb potential within 20 seconds or the energy you gathered will be lost. You will always be able release your nova bomb at any time within the 20 seconds at the level of strength you were able to gather. The nova bomb follows and hovers over you and increases in size at each level. Nova bomb skills: Vortex: vortex effect radius = blast radius Shatter: cast 3 nova bombs. Lvl 1: one extra explosion each bomb, Lvl 2: two extra explosions each bomb, Lvl 3: three extra explosions each bomb.(this skill does not receive the normal damage increase but instead activates extra detonations to cover a wider area) Super Nova (formerly Lance): Gather void light in both hands (Kamehameha) at normal Level 3 strength and release your nova bomb instantly(like the current TTK mechanic). The enormous amount of energy that you gathered in a short amount of time leaves you breathless and provides a movement debuff (like weight of darkness x10) for 5 seconds called "Void walk." Energy Drain: Surge: (unchanged) Life steal: effect is unchanged. activated on hit instead of kill Soul rip: killing an enemy while super energy is full grants 2 slots of nova bomb charge upon nova bomb summoning(only once per nova bomb) Passive skills: 1st column Annihilate: removed and replaced with "Unstable": nova bomb explodes based on enemy proximity Angry magic: removed and replaced with Bloom Hunger: energy drain effect is applied to nova bomb cool down and lasts longer Passive skills: 2nd column Vortex Mastery:) unchanged) Guiding light: while your nova bomb is gathering energy, gain increase weapon handling and reload speed Embrace the Void:) unchanged) So what do you all think?? I really believe that these types of changes to the subclass will inspire more synergistic gameplay within your fire teams and give the Voidwalker the power to compete in PvE while staying competitive in PvP. Let me know if you agree with any of my suggestions or think of better ones!
