Error 80070057 fix!
The solution has been found! When it gives you the error code a hidden menu appears. Click A, then down, and repeat. Do this 7 times and then check your active downloads. (I found that after I had done this I could press A on the "download content" section and there was no more error). Worked like a charm! If the items are stuck on pending, I did a simple restart of my console and everything downloaded. Credit: Ccdd100

I'm having a different problem. I haven't had the error page. I bought the expansion and let it download fully. But now it says I still haven't downloaded it. Not sure wheat to do. I just keep downloading it and dash boarding. Nothing works.

Can anyone confirm that the hidden menu workaround worked all the way? Not that downloads STARTED but that they FINISHED successfully and you were actually able to play TTK after getting the 80070057 error and doing the hidden menu workaround?

After attempting this method extensively I found that it does not work. After "downloading" everything it seems to just disappear and also does not show up in recent downloads history.

16 RepliesIf you do this, it does work. One problem... It charges you 40 dollars on top of what you already paid. I did have a chat with Microsoft and they are aware of the issue and will be granting refunds to whatever form of payment was used. Credit on your account, it will be put there. Used a CC? It will go back to that.

Guys, I've tried this myself, but I also got a glimpse of the menu yesterday cause I managed to do this accidentally, and everything is free but TTK it charges another $40 to your account!

1 ReplyHeres a guide as well once your on the error screen go down 7 times on the left joystick then u will hear the xbox noise of you hovering over something just click a then down 1 then click a and do this until you hear a donk then it means you cant download any more.. you need to exit after that. then go to active downloads and it will say everything like suros pack, TTK, Normal destiny EVERYTHING. i was every skeptical but it actually works

Curiously the only thing it doesnt queue is the only thing it DID queue before i.e. expansion ii
