These Legend of the [Guardian Class] Quests are stupid
Im extremely excited for TTK. Less grinding, better loot etc. but this new quest is taking grinding to a whole new level. Defeat 50 enemies with your ability, melee ability or grenade takes WAY too long. Please nerf the quest, its too much

1 ReplyI saw the satire tag, but either way you still have a point. For example, the last part of the Striker quest for the titan requires you to make [b][u]seven orbs three times in the same strike, but it's impossible unless it's the Undying mind strike.[/u][/b] And that's considering if your teammates are letting you get the kills.

1 ReplyEdited by Axios985: 9/10/2015 2:12:38 AMTook me about 25 minutes in total on that part •use grenades in crowds to maximise kills/grenade (spawn area on Mars where the vex and cabal are fighting is the best spot, mainly go for the vex) Armamentarium is a great call here for the double grenade •set the bubble near a group and stand on the outside so they'll charge you. Once they follow you in, take them down. If you have the St. 14 then this is easy cause they all stop, if not then use a shotgun for best results •I got the least of my kills with melee just cause you only get them if you kill when the ability is up (not while its active), but it's still possible Good luck Guardians! I hope this helps out anyone that still needs to do this I know the tag says satire, but some people might actually need help, so here ya go!

2 RepliesHave you tried just doing the Fist of Crota mission, killing the Blade and using his sword to clear out the room? Technically that sword is considered melee kills, so you could do it in 2 runs I'm guessing.

You get a light level 220 class armor for completing those, 1 for each subclass. You need to be level 40 to equip it, but it's not the grind you suggest. It can be completed with Normal gameplay.
