getting lost in the youtubes like a bad trip through inception. iv come to the conclusion that all games now a days suffer from a lag in connection some where in the interface. weather it be from the internet (servers, or other peoples internet), input from console to tv or monitor (or as it is known as response time) , and wireless controllers, or the games net code. example in destiny is when I shoot a person in pvp with shot gun, on my screen it shows me shooting them first and we both die but on the bottom left "combat report" it shows they got the kill first. that happens so consistently that it has to be in the net code. now im not a programmer but have been playing games online and lan parties for a long time and realize the differences in such things. now the evidence ive seen on the internet shows its in the program not the internet. im not complaining just want to open the conversation to such things. just youtube it, there is a plethora of videos to show what im talking about on all forms of "lag". bungie please help your my only hope

Edited by Laggy_McBadluck: 9/2/2015 4:20:23 AMIt is coded into the game. That's called lag compensation. Without it, in the scenario you described, you would have died, and the other player would have lived, even though it seemed to you that you shot first. It's there so that the player with the best connection doesn't always win uncontested.
