The controls for the most part are very fluid and functional. However I would like more options in settings such as the ability to swap the bindings of X & Square (PlayStation) or A & X (XBox). I would also like to see the "double tap left stick to sprint" option similar to Minecraft console versions. The controls are otherwise very well programmed. In fact they're some of the most intuitive and responsive I've seen in years.
