I'd say yes. First off, it's got a much better story than TDB. Also, it is much easier to get to level 34 with it. Plus, doing your first level 28 PoE you get a guaranteed exotic gun. And there is trials of osiris

I've moved this into the Destiny category for you. To answer your question, I think it's worth it. The story is an improvement over The Dark Below and it has a lot of fun content. If you aren't sure, check out videos and reviews as well.
