Deej you lied to the cummunity...
Deej stated in an older patch,
"The last thing we wanted is for you to look at you`re favorite gun or helmet and deside that it had become obsolete. since the reviel we`ve read alot of ideas for how this could have been done better your feedback is clear. The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected"
*Year 1 exotics are being forgotten*
The year 1 exotics will become obsolete in the taken king. Bungie and more importantly Deej are doing the EXACT thing they said they wouldn`t. All of you`re favorite exotics such as Vex mythoclast and Necrocasm will now be usless RIGHT when they get buffed. Why nerf gjallarhorn when it will already be usless in the taken king since it will be a year 1 exotic. We waited almost 1 whole year for weapons like hardlight to get buffed, and just when we think we can use our favorite weapons we learn that they will be worthless when the taken king comes anyways.Deej you have made late changes in the game before....please don`t make the weapons that we`ve waited for SO long to be buffed be left behind. Not the entire community knows about this yet, so PLEASE change your decision before you make one of destinys *biggest* mistakes.

They believe that whenever they introduce a wildly unpopular change it is for the greater good even when all evidence points to the contrary. 2. They rely on Reddit more than their official forums for feedback. 3. They want you to be invested in your guardian yet at the same time reserve the right to basically dismantle your guardian. (If your guardian is not the some of its gear then what is it? An exp bank?) 4. Luke Smith is still a huge tool

Edited by Munsin1: 8/27/2015 10:27:50 PMThe official playstation. Magazine and edge magazine both had interviews with bungie and they stated that not all year 1 exotics will upgrade to year 2 at launch, and the rest will be released throughout the year(some may come back for year 3)

I'm just not buying dlc. Stopped along when I heard about the stop on ascension and not bringing exotics in straight after they've been buffed at last.
