It seems As though the new maps casued alot of problems The game keeps saying"Sorry were having network problems" every time i try to join a game with my best friend, Dyjital P. He can't join with me and i can't join with him what should i do? I've tried everyting restarted The Xbox,Tryed A differnt LIVE GAMETAG.MAN PLEASE help me.

I am so confused all I can find from Major Nelson is why I can't download the maps I have to pay for...he says it may be the credit card...but my problem is that I can't even download the free ones...so what do I do?

hey, i no yall are all real busy with the new maps and everything, but there is some problem with downloading them. i dont no if its just in my area or what (b/c my friends cant do it either. the only poepl that i no that downloaded both maps did it this moring.) ok i downloaded the bonus pack (free) and it worked ok. but then i went and tried to download the killtactular pack, and thats where my problems were. it asked me if i wanted to buy it and of course i said yes, and it started to download. it was doing aight until about a fifth of the way through. then it said summin like " u have failed to downlaod ..... please visit xbox.com.... i tried to do it again b/c on past downloads, it work the 2nd time?? iono but i was doing that and it didnt work again. so i got mad (i paid and couldnt get it)and left and just started playing the other maps (free ones). i tried downloading them about 30mins ago and it wouldnt even let me start the download. it just mad that noise when u cant do summin iono what it is, but id like it if u would reply to this and tell me if im doing summin wrong..... i dont mind just like to get what i paid for, but im sure bungie and live get workin holla back muppetmower27 (solitarykilla27)

I have a problem with my content download. Whenever I click on it, and it tells me to exit Halo 2 to go to the Content Download to install the new maps, all it does is restart my game. Why does it do this?

I keep getting a "Failed to download content." message when I try to download the free maps. Any clue as to why this is happening?

We're trying to get some answers from the folks in the Live team. The truth is we don't actually know what's causing some of your troubles since we just worry about making the maps. =) Keep in mind there's a ton of activity happening right now both on Live and on your ISP. For now, I believe the best thing to do is wait a little while and try again.

i figure most of your guys' problems are probably due to bandwidth issues. probably A LOT of people trying to download at the same time and Bungie's servers can handle it all. I mean, think of how many ppl play on live, than think of how many ppl are trying to downloa the new maps. it is an ENORMOUS amount of ppl we are talking about. i downloaded both the free maps and the $5.99 maps this morning at around 11 or 11:30. that is about 7/7:30 in Pacific Time (where Bungie is - I live on the East coast of Canada). they said not to expect them until 9 am Pacific which is about 1 pm my time. it was about 2 hours before they said they would be available, but i was there, and so was my xbox, so i figured i'd give her a try. anyway, i downloaded both packs without any problem, however i also didn't have any friends online (not even 1) for the first time since i signed up for Live. so i figure there were not many ppl online, and that may have had something to do with my trouble free downloads. least that's what i figure.

Ok. People were messaging everyone saying 'Don't delete this message' and it's really pissin me off. Its completely rediculous! You can't touch the friend's list and not everyone thought so, and it was completely stupid! You still haven't reset the stats. I think thats going on Monday with the new playlists, and why would everything be changed because of one game?! What if you don't have Halo II and don't have friends with it, what then? Omg... I'm just really worked up about that stupidity in 90% of my friends who play Halo 2.

Hey theres a glitch on one of the new lvl's (Containment) i've found allready what you gotta do is get up the wall on yellow (red base) side right by spectre and use that spectre to climb up hill (may take a few trys) then you will have to go most of way up and head left on hill until there is a flatter slant in the hill keep boosting into that until you get up. Experiment with the banshee first it works just as well but no need for hill climbing. When your up there you can go up huge slanted pillar. Just head over hill at bottom of it boost and land on it when holding down and A. You will be able to land on it and get to the very top of the building at that base!!! TRY IT!

I am glad the timezones are way off. I got up at six a.m. my time and started to download the Killtacular Pack. After about fifteen minutes, it gave me that, "your xbox and/or connection is crappy..." and I then downloaded the Bonus Pack. Everyone needs to calm down and wait a day or two. I deleted 65K blocks of memory. That could help. Think about all the people trying to do the same thing at the same time.

Ok i downloaded all the maps including the ones you have to pay for. Everytime i join a game or create a game there is always a person who didnt load the map because they didnt purchase. we fight and argue for 15 minutes then everone leaves bc the person who didnt pay for the maps wont admit it. is there anything you can do about this. Make them buy the maos or something, its only 6 bux. i mean cmon. even a bum on the street in Hawaii can find 6 bux on the ground. please help me out with this.

I have a question, when will the stats be reset and the new maps being added to matchmaking? These newbs are making it boring because they're cheating and teamkilling because "the stats are being reset" so i can be a @$#^Tard

hey i dont know about u guys but i found a glitch on Warlock, you can get through the middle thing where u get the active camoflauge by someone standing directly across from u in the middle and u sword cancel at the other person, then you are in

I've got a problem when i try and donwloand the "killtacular" map pack it says something like transaction has failed plaeas try again later...... and when i try again it says the same thing ..................................arggh help me [Edited on 4/25/2005]
