Sorry if I'm a bit late to the party, but has the Pie thread now been officially deleted in The Flood?
And if so, doesn't that go against the poll results from the "Kill or not to kill" thread?

The only sad thing about the situation is that employees might be a bit more reluctant to post for fun. Hopefully, the whole thing with the bans is a joke but the dilemma of posting for fun versus serious business (and representing Bungie) is in the spotlight for now. That pie thread ruined the internet but it was inevitable. Playing with fire and all that mess. I've always thought flaming ninjas was a stupid idea.

That thread had to be removed because people kept on coming up with the same excuse... 'An employee has an all caps title, and you didnt ban him!' Personally, I saw the joke in the title (if there was one...otherwise im a fool)

Wow whatever. Really, it's dumb for drabominable to even go that far to banning/removing himself. Who cares? So the pie thread, as cool as it was, is gone. Not a big deal. But to request himself to be removed and that he's not a good example? Wtf this is the internet, have fun! No one cares if he broke a itty bitty rule... Nothing against heyyou (and thanks for the PM screens -- I believe you too), but posting false information and passing it off as fact is against the forum rules here. So I was just implicitly asking for some kind of confirmation when he posted something that he claims is a fact rather than a theory. I didn't say I didn't believe him -- just that anything posted on these forums needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I didn't ask him to take a polygraph, or ask him to post his account password so that we can all open his PM box. I was just hoping for some small shred of proof -- like a screenshot, which is exactly what heyyou provided. On the other hand, you're being completely naive, Milton, if you think that asking for some tiny kind of confirmation of something claimed as a fact on these forums displays some kind of general hatred for humanity or lack of basic decency. For every unsupported claim on these forums that ends up being true, I can show you a thousand that are complete bull-blam!-. It's not about having a "lack of faith in people." It's about learning a bit of restraint after seeing the thousands and thousands of times that somebody passes off a theory as a fact, when in actuality it turns out to be something that they made up. I wish it wasn't deleted, but everyone making a big deal out of it was getting annoying. I took pics of the first few pages of the pie thread before it was deleted, so it is not truly gone! edit: Or they could have just moved it to the Halo 3 Beta forum since noone can go there and if they ever wanted to bring it back they could, but I doubt they did that.
