This Community is Disgusting
With the TTK release many, "veteran" and I use that term sparingly, are complaining that we paid 100 to beta test the game. With the TTK it finally looks like the game we expected and now everyone is bitching about it. Are we as gamers serious? They listen to gamers feedback, they make drastic improvements to everything from guns to in game economy, and now with an in game story; yet we as a gaming community still complain? They innovate and fix a game that yes, was admittedly broken to begin with and now are moving in the right direction and we [i]still[/i] bitch? Communities like this will always stifle gaming innovation, grow up.

Fast forward a few years. Bungie isn't perfect, that's for certain. Really looking forward to all these dudes crying about optional cosmetic items over the forums actually leaving the game. 100% agree with OP.

I've been playing since day one and can't defend bungie on the 1st year FEELING like a payed beta... But they do listen and implement community ideas or at least consider them.

Year 1 has been rough, and I'm still pulling Thorns out of my ass as we speak (or type) but it's also been a blast. VOG Crota's POE and ToO are amazing. Patrol is getting better and better. Exotics are getting more unique. Armor pieces that have animation effects. Cool shaders weapons and armor models. A new social space, with new vendors and characters, and finally, the option, to use a shrapnel launcher and wire rifle! What could be more awesome. Maybe a Minotaur cannon. These experiences have been so much fun, even if they were a little shaky. So yes, it's been something of a beta test, but it's been a damn good one.

How can you know they fixed the game a month before the launch of TTK? Everyone saw the changes with HoW as progress and three months later etheric light is useless and all ToO weapons and armor will be phased out. I saw game play of the new exotic heavy fusion rifle and it was meh. TTK changes sounds promising but history repeats itself. And so far history has me very skeptical with the future of Destiny. I'm planning on skipping destiny 1.5 and wait till destiny 2.

Now that they have actually revealed more. Im reinvested. Prior to the gamescom stuff I was pretty disappointed with the arguably excessive cloak and dagger act, we've seen their dog and pony show before but with the interview and redbull double whammy of bad press I expected them to offer us a bit of a glimpse. Now I've got one, and I am truly ready for Destiny to begin fresh.
