Question About Orb Mechanics

A while back I heard about a glitch that allowed the Hunter to get their Golden Gun extremely quickly. Among the rage posts, I saw a lot of people saying that having a maxed out intellect setup would cause your orbs to recharge other people's supers MUCH more than if you had, for example, a maxed out discipline stat. So I'm asking this- is the potency of the orbs you drop directly correlated to the amount of each stat you have?

  • It wasn't about orbs it was about Ashes to Asset perk and the swarm grenade. Each mini grenade would count as a grenade, and because of that having all of your mini grenades hit an alive/dead person would basically supercharge you twice over.

    • No. The orbs you drop are just orbs. The amount of super energy you get from an Orb however is related to the amount of intellect you have. The higher your intellect, the more super energy you get per Orb collected. There was glitch related to the perk Ashes to Assets which caused Hunters to get their Super instantly upon using the swarm grenade. But it was patched.
