Recently, I've been dissuaded from playing PvP since the warlock class is just messing me around a lot of the time. I'd say I'm a pretty good PvP player as I'm used to getting top of the leaderboard a fair bit. My main concern is the warlock class having bullshit tracking on grenades and a 1-hit melee attack. It seems like people can get away with throwing the grenade behind them and still killing me whilst I'm rushing with a shotgun. That leads me into the melee. I tend to use a high impact shotgun to get the 1-hit kills and after shooting someone point blank, they kill me and lose absolutely no health. I don't know if that is down to connection issues or lag but at least 2/3 of the time I go up against a warlock, I end up dying from some of the bullshit they have. I don't know if I'm being biased towards a hunter and not having a 1-hit melee, you shouldn't be able to do it. I'm not even going to mention the broken new exotic helmet, The Ram giving them extra armour. There are countless other things I find incredibly unfair about the warlock class but I won't go into them.
Does anyone else feel the same way about warlocks?

Point of order, both the Titans (Stryker, lightning grenade, AND defender, Magnetic Grenade) and the Hunters (blade dancer, Flux Grenade) track their targets. I'll admit that the Flux and Lightning grenades aren't as efficient about it, but the Titan gets a grenade that blows TWICE. As to the one-hit Melee, you have to take a specific ability, which is honestly crippling, since it removes the Warlocks self-raise ability, AND you have to have your melee ability fully charged. That's an AND, not an or. The Ram isn't any less fair than Thorn, the Gauntlets hunters have to make them invisible, or the Titan bubble that makes them COMPLETELY INVINCIBLE unless you can get inside it. The reason that you're having trouble fighting against warlocks is simply this: A Warlock Sunsinger is played in a very specific way. You haven't learned to compensate for this. Bungie has worked rigorously to balance all of the classes and subclasses, but a players personality is the greatest factor in their ability to counter various types of attack.

Its only a 1 shot melee in radians and radians isn't a great super for PvP unless in trials because you usually don't get a lot of kills
-
You say this yet you're using the ram now. I'd say about 70 percent of people complain about things that they do themselves.

Warlocks arnt broken the ram is broken

Let's see hunter: one shit golden gun. Golden gun can snipe kill people from across the map. Golden gun can kill multiple spread out people. Blade dancer another op super. Can easily kill multiple spread our enemies. Hunter most used guardian in the crucible. The hunter also has the infamous trip one grenade. If a hunter knows he's going to die before he gets off a shot all he has to do is throw a trip mine grenade and get a cheap kill. The hunter is by far the most op character in crucible.

Edited by Watermelon: 8/2/2015 2:33:52 AMWarlock melees oneshot only in radiance, which is a super. You can't tell me hunters don't have oneshot melees in a mobile super, can you?

No I like it since I am a warlock

Hunter: equip "backstab" on your melee skill ... Problem solved: 1 hit meleekill. Works like 50% of the time from the front too. There u go buddy! First we warlocks taught you how to blink, now how to one hit melee someone. You are welcome sir!!!

Edited by eternal_napalm: 7/29/2015 4:23:39 PMIt's easier in PVP as a Hunter because Supers garauntee 6 kills a round. Minimum. I main a Warlock and do way better on my Hunter.

What about the guy that posted 10 minutes ago about hunters being op......or the one 20 minutes ago posting that Titan are op......

Classes have their pros and cons, no nerf needed. If you cant accept Warlocks then stop playing PvP.
