Rank 30 New Monarchy, still no God of War
At this point, pretty much the only item and I've wanted and not got is the God of War shader. I've been ranking up New Monarchy pretty much every since I decided I wanted it. Is there a better way to get it besides always equipping new monarchy? Does it even drop from New Monarchy ranks, or am I just not praising RNGesus properly?

God of War is NOT a New Monarchy shader. I got one from a Cryptarch package.

Me and my friend got it from the cryptarch, we were around level 14 when we got it.

Yeah mine was a random drop from lvl 28 vanguard.

It drops at random from either leveling up vanguard or any crucible faction up. It's not just N.M so you can level the rest of them or keep trying for their shaders which look almost the same. Praise rng :s
