I REALLY want to say something nice about the Weekly Update, Bungie.
And so I will.
I really like the idea of the 3 weapon foundries. I think it adds some needed depth to the world and love the unique design and aggressive aesthetics of each foundry (I'm sure many a Guardian are drooling over that Suros Rocket Launcher).
This is definitely a step in the right direction and it's good to see some beautiful new art.
Now, please next week give us some answers on some community wish list topics. The new weapons look amazing, but without matchmaking/lfg, vault space, the ability to ascend some current weapon favorites, etc., a lot of Guardians aren't going to stick around to fire those lovely creations.
Grats to the design department and thank you for sharing some wicked screenshots.

I personally thing the design of these new weapons is horrifying. Don't get me wrong, im still gonna use them because I'm sure they'll be better then the guns I have now, but green rated weapons are more creative then these new guns. I do think the whole "different companys have different guns thing" is cool though.

The Suros stuff looks like it came out of Mass Effect. Loving that sleek futuristic design.

1 ReplyThe Suros guns look like something out of Apature Science. Bungie is going with the Borderlands approach and giving guns some personality, not a bad thing. I would like to ascend my Year One weapons though, otherwise; what is point of doing raids if the raid gear is obsolete when you get it?

1 ReplyFudge that mess from Suros its all about Hakke weapons foundry. Weapons by the people for the people. The AR looks like a Scar and that alone makes me want it. The shotgun looks like the modern KSG. Hakke is a example of if it ain't broke don't mess with it.

4 RepliesI won't be happy until we get some damn answers to the questions being asked every day. I had already seen these weapons in some videos, I would much rather have seen ones that weren't included. Like more sidearms or something. It just feels like they're trying to be borderlands at this point.
