WHAT?? Remove Blink from the GAME??? Another nerf
So amidst all the weapon chaos... I stumbled across something I haven't seen anyone talking about on the forums. And if it has been discussed or pointed out already... sorry.

When I read this... that REALLY, I MEAN... REALLY solidified the end of this game for me. The last patch notes did it... but this just puts the final nail on the coffin.
What this shows me... is Bungie can't leave their hands off this game... and the things that make it fun and different. They cater to the WHINERS WAYYYYYY too much. I'm sorry, but this quote proves they will continue to destroy this game piece by piece until all the little kids are happy. Who knows, maybe this is the market they want to cater to. it's a mistake. EVERY game that ever caters to children (after being released for mature players) ends up dying.
And before you say git gud scrub: I have a titan and 2 hunter classes. and am mostly a golden gun user... I do like blink when I use it yes... but my complaint has NOTHING to do with taking away a perk I use to help me win.
EDIT: Anyone who is saying "he doesn't want to remove blink"... You are missing the point. The fact that it's coming across his desk means IT"S A POSSIBILITY. And then combine that with the fact they are still going to nerf it in some way... and they just can't stop F'ing with this game in areas that don't need messing with. And guess what?? if he can't find a way to nerf it... he may not want to remove it... but he may just have to.

Seriously if they remove blink which requires a degree of skill to use in the first place and removes the radar for a bit then they should remove the Titans one hit kill and reduce the amount of hammers they can throw

5 RepliesBungee is starting to make me laugh. They took out loot caves but allow us to do fist of crota a million times for the husk of the pit. They nerf suros. They nerf the gjally and all hand cannons. And they remove blink. What's next? Will they remove xûr. Will they remove exotic bounties? Will they add timers to missions. Seriously, liked this game more at the beginning.

I hope it gets a big nerf as when 2 people are blinking around it's a 50-50 anyone can win (no skill player has a 50% chance to kill a skilled player) Also the shotgun nerf is very good because be honest people how many times a player worse than u killed u because a sniper shotgun. Also because 50% of players run perfect rolled shotguns they have the ability to kill a bladedancer in one shot, it's wrong (shotpackage, luck in chamber, final round)

Everybody not using blink wants it nerfed. Why? Cause it is too good. Even I use it and agree with a nerf. It just needs tweaks to make Blink Shotgun less of a problem in OPness. And your argument about bungie giving in to all the whiners. . . How do you classify a balanced game? A game where abilities are used about equally and where the players think it is fair. As you have said, players don't think it is fair. And about whining... look whose talking(typing)...

Blink needs to be nerfed if not removed. It's pathetic how many people rely on it. It is one of the most ridiculous things ever in a PvP game. Like most of the things in Destiny, it's all these perks and etc that were made for PvE that ruin/give AIDS to PvP.

given that blink is arguably the best pvp jump in the game compared to all others its safe to say that people will complain about it, i dont mind blink as a jump, i just really hate it when i fire rockets at people, the rocket prox detonates on the guy but blink allows him to take 0 damage, thats bullshit. also the extreme overuse of blinkshotgun in small maps and those people litarally do not use anything else except maybe a thorn or a last word, i know how to deal with it but it just takes the fun out of the game for me. i know how to do it myself pretty well and whenever i do its so easy to get kills, so i get why people do it but that makes me think wether theyre able to aim a gun that isnt a shotgun.

12 RepliesI agree with OP, too many complaining about too many things. The consequence in my opinion is 'fun' being developed out of the game to cater to what I'm guessing is their target demographic...not the competitive/hardcore gamer but the more casual crowd.
