Destiny 2?
With a massive disappointment vanilla destiny was, according to some news articles it looks like destiny 2 is around the corner. By that i mean its the next "big project" bungie is doing after the next dlc (taken king) when ever i try to think about how this game can be a trilogy it baffles me. How they intend to make a sequel for a game that is suppose to be an mmo/rpg. What i gather from these type of games, games that you put at least 300+ hours into to be told that there will be a sequel it really makes you think 'do i really want to go through the same grind again?' Its what i don't understand with destiny, it should be an expansion driven game.

1 ReplyThing I don't get is.....your ment to be able to take your character through to the new games,I'm assuming like the mass effect series......but there's one problem I see with that. Mass effect had a storyline based around shepard and saving the universe from reapers,which spanned the 3 games. Destiny.......There is no storyline for your character and if there is,it's so minute there's no way it will span over the 10 year cycle. It wouldn't make any difference if you made a new character for each game because there is very little to no storyline to start with.

4 RepliesIt isn't either an MMO or an RPG, Bungie have stated themselves that it is a Casual Shooter. It just has some elements from MMO/RPG games.

There's a mass effect 2 and 3 right? Still had to level up a bit in those ones and hunt around for gear and such. There will be a new destiny game every 2 years after the first release up to 10 years they are planning for the series, with dlcs between each and an expansion every other year. So destiny 1 Tdb and how Taken king Whatever dlc Destiny 2 Rinse repeat.
